Also – it claims to be strategically formulated to promote an optimal thyroid health.
Overall – the product seems to be promising.
But let's see if it really lives up to its promises.

I also searched for the brand alone and I didn't see any complaints so far.

If you ask me, I have a mix feeling about the price.
In terms of the formulation, it's a good deal for the money.
But regarding the side effects, it's not a good price at all.

Thank you for the information. My naturopath doctor prescribed levothyroxine 50mg and I understand it has some serious side efffects: loss of hair,and others, The reason she wants me to take levothyroxine, is to get my T4 levels back to normal. Would any of the products you mention Acatlin or Thyroid 911 do the same thing??

I personally would advise you to give levothyroxine a try because its side effects are not as scary as they sound (a very small per cent of people actually experience them). If you start dealing with some side effects for real, then you may want to try some alternatives. But I would never recommend using a supplement instead of a prescription treatment, no matter how free of side effects it would seem. That’s because supplements don’t have the same potency and they tend to work a lot slower. So I really don’t advise you to switch to a supplement just for this reason. Better try levothyroxine, see how it goes and get back to me with your feedback. That’s surely what I would do if I were you.
I heard about this first from my coworker. She’s my fellow janitor colleague and frankly, we don’t really earn enough to purchase supplemental products because the necessities already take too much of our finances. Actually, one of the strongest selling point of this product is it’s affordability though it does have some risks in it. I can understand why you would choose it over the other but still, given the risk, I think it would be fine to also consider Thyroid 911. It might not be the most affordable but compared to Actalin Thyroid Support, it has an overall better composition and effect little to no side effect. As such, although it has higher price, it’s better in the long run. This is just a suggestion and you can definitely choose whatever fits you.

I am new here. I actually just found out about your page from my mother. She’s an avid fan but sadly, we just found out that she has an abnormal level of TSH. She just bunked it as tiredness but it came to a point where she had to be hospitalized. Some of our relatives suggested Actalin and so I searched about it here. I ordered this for my wife. She’s been taking this for 3 weeks and now she is cold all the time and she is very puffy. She doesn’t have a weight issue. Her ankles and face are mostly affected.
Hi Cully, I’m sorry to hear about your wife. Was she taking anything else during that period? Those symptoms are probably because of the supplement, so she should definitely try to give it up and maybe check her TSH.
I don’t know if she’s suffering from hyperthyroidism or from a low thyroid – but those symptoms are specific for a low thyroid, so checking her TSH would be a good idea. She probably tested it out in the past (at least once), so she could compare her actual value with the last ones and see where she stands. But if her value is much higher than it was in the past, it’s clear that Actalin isn’t really helping her thyroid, on the contrary.
I actually tried this product and it did a good job for me. There were certainly a result and aside from that, I did not experience side effect whatsoever. Now, I am no longer taking this product because I’m already back to my normal TSH levels. I’m sure that there is no perfect product but I would like to say that it is also okay to take risks. By the way, I’m scared that I might be losing memory because I seem to frequently forget a lot of things nowadays and to think I’m not even that old?! Do you have any recommendations for me?
