Thyrogard's claim says that “our research confirms natural approach is the best.”

So here are the benefits of the said statement:

• improves metabolism
• balances mood
• boosts mental clarity

According to this product's website, an underactive thyroid can cause a lot of imbalances.

And that's completely true (medically speaking).

So Thyrogard promises to address this problem by restoring the key thyroid hormones.

Honestly, that's pretty hard to believe – if you ask me.

Also – the product is vegan-free, gluten-free and non-GMO.

Lastly – its overall goal of it is to maintain optimal thyroid function.

So let's find out the truth behind that claim, as we go through this review.

2. Company Behind

Thyrogard comes from a company called Nutreance.

So far – here's what I found out about it:

• all of its products are meant for health
• its supplements are for digestion, bones and joint, etc.
• contact info includes mailing address, phone number and email

Now – I did find some complaints about this brand (on BBB).

Most of them were about the refunds, billing and shipping issues.

But the good thing is that their customer support answered and solve each complaint.

So that's a pretty good sign about its authenticity.

#2 – Ingredients (4 out of 10)

At first – Thyrogard looks quite promising if you check its formula.

It's based on 2 types of compounds:

• herbal extracts
• thyroid helpers

However, the overall formula is not that impressive, in my view.

Basically, this product has all of its ingredients listed out as a proprietary blend.

That's not necessarily a bad thing – except that there are no individual doses.

Honestly, that's a strategy you can find in supplements with low doses:

• overall dose is pretty low
• individual doses would be extremely low

So instead of giving out some minimal doses, it's easier to hide them (and only list the overall dose).

That's why I'm not a big fan of proprietary blends (especially when there's no other ingredient besides).

But let's take a look at Thyrogard's propriety blend:

1. L-Tyrosine – helps the body produce thyroid hormones [1]
2. Turmeric Root Extract – reduces the symptoms of hypothyroidism [2]
3. Bladderwrack Extract – provides iodine to your body [3]
4. Kelp – prevents hypothyroidism and it's a source of iodine [4]

Again – each ingredient is very good in its own way.

But all of these compounds are listed in a mix.

So you can't the individual doses of each.

And considering the overall dose (355 mg) – they are surely very low.

That's why I wouldn't expect too much from this product.

Conclusion

Overall – Thyrogard is not that an exceptional thyroid (mostly because of its low doses).

So honestly – I wouldn't recommend it any soon.

#3 – Pills & Dosage (6 out of 10)

So let's now focus on the characteristics of Thyrogard.

1. Pills

Let me describe the supplement for you:

• slightly transparent yellow capsules
• average or normal pill size
• light brown powder inside

I assume the yellow color probably comes from turmeric.

But overall – it looks like a normal supplement to me.

2. Dosage

Now – there are 2 recommended ways to take Thyrogard:

• 1-2 capsules/day for daily use
• 2-4 capsules/day for those who experience fatigue

Also – there's a tip saying that it's best to take it in the morning.

It also mentions that it's okay to consume it with or without a meal.

But if you ask me, I suggest you to eat first (just to avoid stomach pain).

Stomach irritation is very common when taking pills on an empty stomach.

So overall – Thyrogard's instructions are not that hard to follow.

But 4 capsules/day can be pretty hard, so I can't say I'm a big fan of its dosage.

#4 – Results (6 out of 10)

I'm quite curious about the overall performance of Thyrogard.

Unfortunately – there are very limited customer reviews about it.

Thyrogard's website does feature some customers reviews.

However – I don't really rely on them, since they have some huge chances of being biased.

Note: I only analyzed authentic reviews, not promotional or fake ones.

Now – I went over to Amazon and check some feedback about this product.

Thyrogard got a total of 4.1 stars out of 5.

So far, here are the comments of the people who liked it:

1. Most experienced improvements in their hypothyroidism.
2. Others mentioned that they felt less tired and cranky after using it.
3. Some said it helped them to achieve a mental clarity and a good mood.

If you ask me, it seemed to work overall.

But this seems to be the case for people who don't have some serious thyroid problems.

You can find way better products in the market that are a lot cheaper, actually.

Let me give you a good alternative, it's my top recommended thyroid supplement.

I'm talking about a product called Thyroid 911:

3. Thyrogard has some decent ingredients inside.
4. But the formula is rather weak, because the compounds are in a mix.

So here's the summary of my views on Thyrogard.
