My Review: Wild Growth Hair Oil (2023) – Do Its Ingredients Work?

It's time to review Wild Growth Hair Oil – a pretty interesting product:

  • pretty affordable
  • easy to use (on a daily basis)
  • not suitable for new hair growth

So is it worth trying at all? Do its ingredients work?

Let's see some important details of this product in the following lines.

Note: This review is based on my opinion + research on Wild Growth Hair Oil.

Review Summary

review Wild Growth Hair OilFull Name: Wild Growth Hair Oil by Wild Growth

Product Type: Hair Oil

Best Actual Prize: Around $9

Cheapest Place To Buy: Amazon

Designed For: Promoting thick and long hair growth.

It also claims to have several other hair benefits:

  • de-tangles and softens hair
  • reduces split ends and breakage
  • treats hair loss

My Rating: 5 out of 10

Recommended?: Not really – it's clearly not it promises to be:

  • can have the opposite effect (make hair fall out)
  • doesn't treat hair loss
  • triggers a lot of side reactions

If you ask me, I suggest you to go for a much better hair supplement that really grows hair faster.

In case you also want to combat the causes of hair loss, it's even better.

What I Liked About It

  • Applying it doesn't need too much effort
  • Contains a lot of herbal ingredients
  • Has a lot of customer reviews
  • Available in many countries
  • Affordable for the quantity

What I Didn’t Like About It

  • Doesn't contain any potent ingredients for hair loss
  • Worsen the hair's condition (in many cases)
  • Triggers some side effects
  • Formula doesn't target the root cause of most hair problems
  • No individual doses for each ingredient

Wild Growth Hair Oil In A Nutshell

review Wild Growth Hair OilFirstly – as its name tells, Wild Growth Hair Oil is obviously a hair oil.

It claims to make your hair longer, stronger and thicker.

Also – it promises to be a hair loss treatment.

And in my view, it's not the most horrible hair product on the market.

However – it's not extremely far either:

  • not designed to treat hair loss
  • doesn't contain any of the top hair ingredients
  • can worsen hair (instead of improving it)
  • has a high risk of side effects

Again – most of its complaints are about hair fall and thinning.

That's surely not a good sign, if you're looking for a good hair product.

Now – the positive thing about it is how easy it is to use.

You just need to apply it 3 times a week (at most).

But remember that it's a hair oil – so it will make your hair a lot greasier than usual.

Also, the price of a bottle is extremely low.

As you can see, it's not the most expensive product out there.

Just manage your expectations – because the price is just right for its quality.

Overall – it's up to you if you decide to try it or not.

But for me, I recommend that you get a genuine hair supplement.

#1 – How It Works & Producer

Let's first tackle some of the basic details about Wild Growth Hair Oil:

  • how it works
  • who is the producer behind
  • the hair concerns it helps
1. How It Works

Firstly – I want to clarify that Wild Growth Hair Oil is a hair oil.

It's not a supplement, so you don't really need to take it orally.

Also – it comes with a partner product called  Oil Light Moisturizer.

review Wild Growth Hair Oil

Here's the difference between the two:

  • Hair Oil – it's used for damp to dry hair
  • Light Moisturizer – you mix it with your shampoo

But in this review, we will focus on hair oil.

Now – it claims to be “a simple solution for your hair care routine.”

So here's how it promises to work for your hair:

  • treats male pattern baldness
  • acts as a treatment for hair loss for both men and women
  • hydrates, conditions and softens hair
  • makes the hair less prone to split ends and hair breakage
  • promotes strong and thick hair growth for all hair types
  • reduces blow-drying time after washing
  • helps to detangle and relax the hair

If you ask me, it's just a normal hair topical product.

Don't expect it to target the root cause of hair loss – such as excess DHT.

Even if it claims to be a hair loss treatment, it's not as impressive (in terms of composition – see below).

So honestly – I don't have high hopes for it.

It looks like it only nourishes the existing hair, not like it can grow any new hair.

Overall – if you have serious hair concerns, don't go for this product.

2. Company Behind

Now – the company behind Wild Growth Hair Oil is Wild Growth.

Here's what I found out about it:

  • you can only contact it by leaving your name, email, phone number and message
  • only sells 2 hair products (Hair Oil and Hair Oil Light Moisturizer)
  • it has a lot of customer reviews for the product it offers

Honestly – the brand is also straightforward.

So there's not a lot of additional info about it.

But you can see the important details on its website.

#2 – Ingredients (4 out of 10)

Let's talk about Wild Growth Hair Oil's disappointing formula:

  • lacks the top ingredients for hair growth
  • mostly contains (pretty unusual) herbal compounds
  • no individual doses for each ingredient

Now – I'm a big fan of herbal extracts.

They certain have a lot of benefits for DHT excess and hair loss.

But in this case, their combination isn't extremely powerful (as the label claims).

If you ask me, applying oil to hair has some benefits.

You might notice improvements, but they are usually just minimal.

Again – it claims to be a treatment for hair loss and pattern baldness.

However, it doesn't really target the top causes of hair loss.

One example is excess DHT, which is a hormone that interferes with the hair growth cycle.

Sure, it has 1-2 ingredients that can address DHT.

But don't expect the benefits to be as potent as a supplement (that reduces DHT levels from the inside).

That's why I'm not a big fan of Wild Growth Hair Oil's composition.

Anyway, let's take a look at the ingredients present in it:

  1. Coconut Oil – prevents dry scalp, split ends and hair breakage [1]
  2. Olive Oil – increases hair growth and softness [2]
  3. Jojoba – helps in keeping the hair moisturized
  4. Rice Bran – hydrates and repairs damaged hair strands
  5. Cocoa Butter – rejuvenates and nourishes hair
  6. Acerola – provides antioxidants and vitamins [3]
  7. Pomegranate – has antidandruff and antifungal properties [4]
  8. Rosehip – helps in reducing the inflammation of the scalp
  9. Pumpkin Seed – can inhibit the causes of mild to moderate hair loss [5]
  10. Mushroom Extracts – boosts hair growth and good source of vitamins and minerals
  11. Chick Pea – strengthens the hair and fights off dandruff
  12. Lentil – nourishes the hair follicles and the scalp
  13. Cocoa Mass – soothes and supports healthy scalp
  14. Sesame Seed – contains antibacterial and antifungal properties [6]
  15. Clary Sage Oil – strengthens hair and improves scalp blood circulation
  16. Eucalyptus – relieves itchy scalp and treats head lice [7]
  17. Frankincense – stimulates the hair follicles to improve hair growth
  18. Geranium – promotes smooth and silky hair
  19. Grapefruit – brightens the hair and make it shinier
  20. Lavender – supports faster hair growth [8]
  21. Peppermint – stimulates blood circulation in the scalp and hair growth

Again – the compounds mentioned above have a lot benefits for the hair.

You can incorporate it into your routine.

But I doubt they are enough to treat hair loss, shedding and thinning.

The best thing they can do is to promote a faster hair growth.

Overall – Wild Growth Hair Oil's formula is nothing special.

It's disappointing when it comes to targeting the major causes of hair loss.

It can be helpful in minimal ways (like speeding up hair growth).

But other than that, I suggest that you look for a real supplement that can really help.

#3 – Consistency & Dosage (5 out of 10)

Let's now discuss Wild Growth Hair Oil's appearance and looks.

1. Consistency

If you ask me, here's how I would describe this product:

  • has a thick and greasy consistency
  • smells terrible (unlike other hair products)
  • is yellow to light brown

Honestly – I don't think it's something you want to put in your hair.

That especially if you're going out every day.

You might want to apply hair perfume to conceal the scent a little bit.

But like every oil – it will make your hair greasier than usual.

2. Dosage

Now – Wild Growth Hair Oil is quite easy to apply.

According to its instructions, here's how you should apply it:

  1. Shake the product and apply it to your scalp and entire hair.
  2. Start by using it once a week.
  3. Gradually increase the frequency up to three times per week.

These directions are available for the first month.

But they also mention maintaining the routine after the first month.

Now – the process of applying it on your scalp is easy.

But the frequency of application is a little bit confusing to me.

As recommended, you should probably start by using it once a week.

You then gradually increase the application up to 3 times a week and maintain it.

#4 – Results (7 out of 10)

So far, Wild Growth Hair Oil has a lot of reviews from people who tried it.

That's surely a good thing, since we can see how it worked for other people.

Note: I only analyzed authentic reviews, not promotional or fake ones.

1. Positive Opinions

If you ask me, I don't rely on the reviews on the product's official website.

So let's check Wild Growth Hair Oil's reviews on Amazon:

  1. A lot of people noticed their hair became thicker and stronger.
  2. Some said it made their hair soft and smooth.
  3. Others experienced less hair breakage and split ends.
  4. There were people who mentioned that it moisturized their scalp and hair.

The overall rating it has is 4.5 out of 5 stars.

It's pretty decent – considering there were thousands of reviews available.

Now – the comments from people who tried it are very promising.

They seem to agree with the claims of the product.

But its complaints are also pretty significant.

2. Negative Opinions

Like I said, Wild Growth Hair Oil is not free from complaints.

So here are the things people didn't like about it:

  1. Some customers said they experience adverse reactions.
  2. Most of them mentioned that it smells very badly.
  3. Others didn't see any improvements at all.
  4. The rest stated that it's a horrible product and they don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of comments about increasing hair loss, which is weird.

A lot of people complained about how it made their hair shed even more.

So you should take that into consideration, before buying it.

Honestly – a hair product shouldn't do that even in 0.5% of its users.

Given these issues, there's no way I could recommend it.

To sum it up, Wild Growth Hair Oil comes with a lot of reviews.

A lot of people like its promising results on their hair.

However, there were also customers who mentioned that it made their hair fall out really badly.

So I really suggest that you go for a safer (and better) alternative.

#5 – Side Effects (3 out of 10)

review Wild Growth Hair OilAs I mentioned, Wild Growth Hair Oil received lots of comments about its side effects.

So here are the most common complaints from people who tried it:

  • intense scalp itchiness
  • terrible hair shedding/thinning
  • allergic reactions

If you ask me, the adverse reactions above aren't extremely varied.

This means this product doesn't cause dozens of side reactions.

But the few ones it does cause are extremely alarming.

I'm mostly talking about increased hair fall and shedding.

In my view, a decent product should never cause something similar.

Honestly – it's not my favorite feature of Wild Growth Hair Oil.

Again, it promises to treat hair loss and male pattern baldness.

But in reality – it does the opposite (in many cases).

So I honestly don't recommend it.

#6 – Price (7 out of 10)

In my opinion, Wild Growth Hair Oil is not that expensive.

But let me explain to you why it's not my top option.

1. The Exact Price

Firstly – Wild Growth Hair Oil is available on Amazon and its official website.

So here are the prices from both sites:

  • Single bottle costs $8.55 on Amazon
  • Meanwhile, it costs $12.99 on its website
  • Only Amazon offers free shipping

I also want to mention that one bottle has about 120 ml (4 fl. oz.).

At first look, it doesn't look very expensive.

In fact, it's way more affordable than other hair products.

If you ask me, it's a good option for people who:

  • have a generally healthy hair
  • want to maintain their existing hair

But for people who have major hair problems (like shedding/thinning), it won't be enough.

So even though it's affordable, it won't be really helpful.

For this reason – why spend anything on it?

2. Competitors’ Price

Now – let me give you the best recommendation out there.

I suggest you to try Folexin, my #1 recommended hair supplement:

  1. Folexin contains more varied ingredients in its potent doses.
  2. Its overall formula really treats major hair concerns (like hair loss and balding).
  3. Wild Growth is mostly made up of herbal ingredients.
  4. It can only work in making the hair thicker, stronger and longer.
  5. Folexin is an oral supplement, while Wild Growth is hair oil.
  6. In other words, Folexin treats the main causes of hair loss from the inside.
  7. The original price of Folexin is $24.95.
  8. But it can be bought for only $17-18 (for a larger supply).
  9. Wild Growth's lowest price for one bottle is $8.55.

Honestly – Folexin is clearly superior to Wild Growth Hair Oil.

It's a real supplement that can address the root causes some serious hair problems.

Also – it works really well treat hair loss, shedding and thinning.

Not only that, but it contains major hair vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts.

So I still think it's the best investment for your money.

Overall – Wild Growth Hair Oil is quite affordable.

But only expect that its quality is proportional to its pricing.

So if you only want thicker and stronger hair, then it's a decent purchase.

But otherwise, I recommend that you go for a better alternative.

#7 – Final Conclusions

Let me share with you my summarized views on Wild Growth Hair Oil.

1. Weak Formulation

In my view, Wild Growth Hair Oil doesn't have the worst formula out there.

But it's not the best product from the market either:

  • no individual doses
  • no classic compounds for hair growth
  • doesn't have any vitamins and minerals

The best thing it can do is to make existing hair thicker, stronger and longer.

Don't expect it to treat hair loss, as it claims to.

2. Can Worsen Hair Loss

Unfortunately, Wild Growth Hair Oil is not free from complaints.

But the adverse reaction most worth noting is an increased hair fall/shedding.

If you ask me, a hair product should never have this kind of reaction.

So it's a major reason why I don't recommend it.

3. Quite Affordable

Lastly, Wild Growth Hair Oil is not that expensive.

The cost of one bottle is around $9.

Again – it's not that pricey, but manage your expectations from it.

It's not the product for you, if you have some serious hair concerns.

My Verdict – Worth It Or Not?

review Wild Growth Hair OilShort answer: Not really – I'm not its biggest fan:

  1. Can cause the opposite effect on your hair (thinning and hair fall)
  2. Triggers some adverse reactions
  3. Lacks the top compounds that can stop hair loss
  4. Doesn't target the root cause of hair fall

Honestly – Wild Growth Hair Oil is not a bad product.

However, it's not the best one from the market either.

It's made up of herbal ingredients – which are good for hair health.

But the best thing its composition can do is to make the hair stronger and longer.

If you're looking for a product to combat major hair problems, it's not what you need.

My advice is to get a legit hair supplement instead.

Let me introduce to you my #1 recommended hair supplement.

I'm talking about Folexin:

  • Treated my hair loss better than anything else
  • Has the best mix of ingredients from the market
  • Is well-tolerated and has a minimal risk of side effects
  • Comes with very affordable pricing for its value

Again – Wild Growth Hair Oil is not a terrible product.

But it's not enough for people who are battling hair loss and thinning.

So if I were you, I would surely go for Folexin – since it's the best option.

You will surely get that major improvement that you desire for your hair.
