My Review: Death To Diabetes Book – Does It Work? (2023)

It’s time to review Death To Diabetes Book.

As its name tells, it's a program made to control diabetes:

  • quite expensive
  • not applicable in most cases
  • pretty hard to read and follow

So does it actually prove its claims (of curing diabetes)?

Most likely not, as no product/course can do that.

But let's find out the real deal behind this book, in this review.

Note: This review is based on my opinion + research on Death To Diabetes.

Review Summary

review death to diabetesFull Name: Death To Diabetes: The Six Stages of Type 2 Diabetes Control & Reversal by DeWayne McCulley

Product Type: Diabetes/Blood Sugar Book

Best Actual Prize: Around $20 (for the softcopy)

Cheapest Place To Buy: Amazon

Designed For: Controlling type 2 diabetes – it promises to:

  • reverse the effect of diabetes
  • lower blood glucose
  • reduce fats

My Rating: 6 out of 10

Recommended?: Not really – there are some less pleasant facts about it:

  • pricey for its value (and credibility)
  • its strategy isn't suitable for everyone
  • quite hard to understand

If you really want to see some real changes, I advise you to go for an internal product

It's the only one that can give you some positive results (pretty fast).

What I Liked About It

  • Written by a real diabetes sufferer
  • Comes with 17 chapters (recipes included)
  • Available in several versions

What I Didn’t Like About It

  • Pretty pricey for what it offers
  • Only limited reviews are available online
  • Most tips are not for everyone
  • Mostly based on personal experiences (not on science/studies)
  • Not too easy to understand/read

Death To Diabetes In A Nutshell

review death to diabetesIf you ask me, Death To Diabetes is a decent book.

It's inspired from its writer's personal fight with diabetes.

There are a total of 17 chapters, including the recommended recipes.

But there are some things I didn't really like:

  • a little bit hard to follow
  • some of the tips is not applicable in most cases
  • program is based on what worked for a single person
  • not a lot of previous users
  • pretty pricey for what it offers

Honestly – it doesn't have a clear approach (in my view).

There are only 2 exceptions:

  • is the part where it recommends some superfood recipes
  • the exercises suggested

Plus – the book itself looks more like a discussion about diabetes.

So it doesn't seem like a real program dedicated to type 2 diabetes.

Now – it has a 4.4/5 stars rating (Amazon).

But the number of people who actually reviewed it pretty low.

So I couldn't really trust the overall ratings.

Lastly – its lowest price is $19.95, for a softcopy.

You can also get a paperback version (for $20.32).

If you ask me, it's pretty pricey for the information it offers.

Overall – I don't really recommend it.

You can try it if you want – but there are some way better alternatives on the market.

#1 – How It Works & Producer

Here's some important info about Death To Diabetes:

  • who is the author behind
  • how its program works
  • what method it uses
1. How It Works

Honestly – there isn't a lot of description about Death To Diabetes.

It claims to to “reverse, cure and defeat type 2 diabetes naturally without drugs.”

To attain that, here's how it's going to work (according to its official page):

  • refrains the increase of blood glucose in the body
  • lowers blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels
  • helps the body burn fat
  • controls appetite and food cravings
  • promotes eating healthy and superfoods
  • encourages exercise to boost energy
  • reduces insulin resistance
  • improves physical and mental health

If you ask me, I don't believe that a book can end up replacing diabetes medications.

If we were talking about another condition – I would still be hesitant.

But when it comes to diabetes, that's pretty much impossible.

That's those claims seem quite exaggerated.

So I would expect the program to be very intensive, but that's not really the case.

Overall – it claims to do all that by promoting superfoods and exercise.

You can pretty much tell that its promises are way too good to be true.

2. Producer

Now – Death To Diabetes is written by DeWayne McCulley.

After a careful research, here's what I found out about it:

  • ex-diabetic engineer
  • overcame a diabetic coma
  • has a background in engineering and biochemistry

Honestly – what I mostly found about him was that has has a lot of experience with diabetes.

He wrote 2 books dedicated to diabetic people.

Other than that, there's nothing much about him.

Even the official website linked to the book is no longer working (which is a weird thing).

Overall – it's up to you to try it or not.

#2 – Course Content (6 out of 10)

Here's a quick overview of Death To Diabetes' contents:

  • divided into 17 chapters
  • includes some recipe suggestions
  • one chapter dedicated to the author's experience

There are quite a lot of chapters, to be honest.

So I want to focus on the 3 most important ones.

1. Chapter 2

Death To Diabetes' second chapter focuses on the author's experience with diabetes.

The title is “My Coma & Recovery.”

In this part, he narrated his whole experiences with:

  • diabetic coma
  • a blood glucose level of 1337
  • hyperglycemia, dehydration and blood clots
  • high cholesterol and pneumonia
  • four insulin shots a day

So basically, we can see what program the author recommends.

This chapter is probably what makes this book unique.

2. Chapter 3

Let's now move on to the third chapter of the Death To Diabetes Book.

It talks about the “Types of Diabetes.”

So far – here's what it discusses:

  • history of diabetes
  • signs that you're a diabetic
  • insulin resistance
  • different levels of blood sugar
  • longterm complications
  • myths and mistakes about diabetes

Honestly – I think this makes a pretty good chapter.

That especially for those who are still confused about their diabetes.

3. Chapter 4

Now – the fourth chapter talks is more focused on the program itself.

Its title is “The Diabetes Control & Reversal Model.”

Based on what I found out, it discusses the following info:

  • proper exercise
  • good nutrition
  • medication
  • doctor visits
  • physical examinations

In short, those aspects are all essential in managing type 2 diabetes.

But as you can see, there's some medication mentioned as well.

Still, the book itself doesn't focus too much on the actual medication you're taking.

Instead – it tries to make you give it up (which isn't a bad goal, but it's pretty hard to achieve).

4. Other Chapters

Let's list down the remaining chapters of Death To Diabetes Book:

  • 1 – Introduction
  • 5 – The Major Macronutrients
  • 6 – The 5 “Live” & 5 “Dead” Foods
  • 7 – The Super Meal Model
  • 8 – Nutritional Supplementation
  • 9 – Cleansing/Detoxification
  • 10 – Exercise
  • 11 – Blood Glucose Testing/Doctor Visits
  • 12 – Drugs/Medications
  • 13 – Mind & Spirit
  • 14 – The 6 Stages of Diabetes Control & Reversal
  • 15 – Diabetic Complications
  • 16 – Next Steps
  • 17 – Recipes of Super Meals

As you can see, the remaining parts of the book look pretty interesting.

But – in my view, the book gets too wordy and the flow is inconsistent.

So I consider most chapters pretty hard to follow.

Since most readers complain about this aspect as well, it's surely not just me.

So that's a potential downside.

Conclusion

Overall – Death To Diabetes Book has quite a lot of content.

But in reality, no one wants to read a very long and wordy book.

That unless it includes some stories (that make it more engaging).

So if you ask me, this book isn't really my type (nor my personal favorite).

#3 – Results (7 out of 10)

If you ask me, Death To Diabetes Book has very few reviews available.

It's still a decent number – but it's not enough to prove its effectiveness.

Note: I only analyzed real reviews, not fake/promotional ones.

1. Positive Opinions

Again – I mentioned that it has few reviews from previous buyers.

So the rating of 4.4/5 stars is not that impressive.

It only comes from 222 global ratings.

But let's see the positive feedback about Death To Diabetes:

  1. Most of those users said that it's full of good info about diabetes.
  2. A few people reduced their prescription meds after reading this book.
  3. Some noticed they lost some fats and their blood sugar levels normalized.
  4. Others mentioned that the recipes are good.

Honestly – these comments are almost identical..

So it's safe to say that this book has a good effect on people with diabetes.

They all liked the recommended diet and juicing recipes.

Also – it helps to lower blood sugar levels, which is also a good thing.

2. Negative Opinions

However, Death To Diabetes has some complaints too.

So if you're curious, here are some of them:

  1. A lot of the people said that it was too wordy and hard to understand.
  2. Some mentioned that the program is not applicable to them.
  3. Others complained about receiving a faulty softcopy.
  4. A few said that it's entirely based on the author's experience and nothing else.

I want to clarify that some reviews said that the program is not helpful for everyone.

They mentioned that these theories are not tested on a bigger population.

Also – the rest of the book is about discussing diabetes.

So it's not that focused on teaching the readers how to reverse type 2 diabetes (as it claims).

Conclusion

To summarize everything, Death To Diabetes has a decent feedback.

However – it's more of discussion about diabetes (according to some readers).

It doesn't seem like a program that really helps with reversing and controlling diabetes.

So I don't really recommend it, since there are more specific books out there.

#4 – Side Effects (7 out of 10)

review death to diabetesNow – I didn't see any complaints about this book's adverse reactions.

But it doesn't mean that Death To Diabetes is 100% safe.

If you ask me, the following issues can still appear:

  • nausea/headaches
  • allergic reactions

To clarify, headaches or nausea are common.

It can appear in anyone who will immediately shift their diet.

Again – it's just a book, so there's a high chance that it won't help too much.

I'm speaking in comparison with a supplement.

Lastly, allergic reactions can appear due to some foods from its recipes.

So it's essential to pay attention to any new recipes you follow from this book.

#5 – Price (5 out of 10)

If you ask me, Death To Diabetes is a little bit pricey.

It has a lot of content, but I don't think it's the best one.

1. The Exact Price

Now – I will focus on the prices on Amazon:

  • Softcopy is $19.95
  • Paperback costs $20.32
  • Free shipping (in most days)

In my opinion, Death To Diabetes is not the best deal on the market.

It surely has a lot of content to offer, as I already said.

However – I wish it would focus more on its specific approach.

The only unique thing about it are its recommended recipes.

Plus, it also gives out some special exercises for diabetes (but those aren't necessarily original).

You might get a lot of pages for the price.

But I still, it's not a program I recommend on a regular basis.

2. Competitors’ Price

If you're looking for a better program, try my #1 recommended book.

I'm talking about is Diabetes Masterclass:

  1. Diabetes Masterclass has some 6-part video courses (divided in 3 phases).
  2. It focuses on improving diabetes and it comes with a bonus of 4 e-books.
  3. Death To Diabetes comes with 17 chapters (including some recipes).
  4. Its main goal is to reverse type 2 diabetes and to stop your medications.
  5. Diabetes Masterclass cost $19.97 (with lifetime access to the course).
  6. Death To Diabetes' pricing starts at $19.95 (for softcopy) and $20.32 (for paperback).

If I had to me choose between the two, Diabetes Masterclass would surely be my pick.

It offers a lot more materials.

Also – it's specially focus on improving diabetes.

Now, I advise you to combine it with Striction D.

It's a great blood sugar supplement (with some real results).

Using these products together will definitely help your diabetes in the long run.

Conclusion

Overall – Death To Diabetes is quite pricey.

It gives a lot of content, but it's mostly wordy and looks like a discussion of diabetes.

So if you're looking for a more specific program, it's not the one.

#6 – Final Conclusions

Now – here's a summary of my points on Death To Diabetes.

1. Decent Content

In my view, Death To Diabetes comes with a lot of content:

  • full background of the author
  • several chapters that talk about diabetes
  • recommended recipes

The total number of chapters it has is 17.

So that's a lot of info, if you want to learn more about diabetes.

2. Hard To Understand

However – Death To Diabetes is a little too wordy.

Also, the flow is not coherent – so it makes the readers a bit confused.

Some people mentioned feeling “information overload”:

  • feels more like a lesson about diabetes
  • doesn't give it its strategy very clearly

So with that, I don't think it's the easiest book to read.

3. Pretty Pricey

Lastly – Death To Diabetes is not the most affordable course out there.

Although it has a lot of content, it doesn't focus on the actual program.

So for $19.95 (softcopy) or $20.32 (paperback), it's not the best value.

My Verdict – Worth Or Not?

review death to diabetesShort answer: Not really – it has some less interesting facts:

  1. Too wordy and not easy to read
  2. Program is mostly based on the author's experiences
  3. Several tips are not suitable for everyone
  4. Quite pricey for what it offers

Honestly – Death To Diabetes is a decent book.

But it's more of a lesson about diabetes, in my view.

So if you're someone who's looking for a most intensive program, it's not the one for you.

There are some much better books/courses available out there.

Let me introduce to you my top recommended product.

I'm talking about Diabetes Masterclass:

  • Teaches several original methods
  • Tried and tested out to improve diabetes
  • A lot of customers recommend it
  • Affordable for everything it offers

These are some of the reasons why it's the book I recommend.

Now, don't expect it to make some miracles – because it's still a book.

That's why I recommend you to pair it with StrictionD.

This product it's by far the best diabetes supplement I know.

If you use both Striction D and Diabetes Masterclass, you have some higher chances to see some results.

Just don't expect them to cure your diabetes – because no product will.

But they can definitely improve your blood sugar level.
