I am currently using Nerve Shield Plus for Neuropathy. I have been taking it only 4 weeks. At least the sharp pains i was getting especially at night have gotten much less. I only bought 3 months worth to see if it really worked. It is expensive for me, but I did not know what else I could use that worked so I tried it. My cardiologist says could not see anything wrong with it. I take a lot of meds so was trying to find something more natural. Did not want to turn to pain medications. This kind of supplements are not recommended to children under 18, so if that’s his case as well, they are a big no. Also, a supplement will most likely not solve his pain since classic drugs did not (they have a much stronger effect). So my advice would be to talk to his doctor and test several alternatives, there should be one that works even a bit. Just make sure he’s on a prescription treatment instead of a supplement. He can also add a supplement to his daily products, but I would not recommend it at this point (they tend to be very pricey and they might not help, so for now I would only stick to the drugs). Trying another drug would be the best thing for your son right now, it’s all about finding the suitable one for this pain. However, since you had absolutely no results with Nerve Shield Plus, I can’t guarantee that Nerve Renew is going to help you tremendously. Are you following any prescription treatment additionally? If you’re willing to try Nerve Renew, my opinion is that it should help you more than Shield Plus on paper (judging after its formula). But I can’t tell for sure how it’s going to work in reality.

I took neuropathy support formula several years ago on an extended period for neuropathy discomfort and found it to be totally ineffective. I could not understand all the positive reviews and assumed it was a scam. I showed it to a orthopedist who seemed unimpressed by it. I never tried nerve renew by the same company but this experience does not give me confidence that it would help but you never know until you try this exact product. I am trying Biosoothe to see if it is effective and I’m not totally convinced that it doesn’t help to some degree at this point. So the jury is out on that product for me but I tend to believe that it is really not that effective thus far. Nearly anything is worth trying once to me. So this is my comment for what it is worth. I’ve been using this for half a year now and it’s the only product I keep coming back to. I have type II diabetes and nerve pain has been one of the most unbearable symptoms from the start (I was diagnosed in 2012). Since I’m on Nerve Renew the pain is so much better, it gets worse in rainy and humid days but otherwise it doesn’t even bother me most of the time. Lyrica is a prescription drug that is often used for neuropathy – so if your doctor prescribed it, I suggest you to give it a try before anything else. Every drug can cause side effects or secondary reactions, but they are a lot more scary on paper than in reality. That’s because a very low number of people actually experience them. So I really advise you to give Lyrica a shot and see how things go, maybe it really helps. And if it does cause you some side effects, then you can give it up at any time and they should go away.

Hey Richard, you should definitely start Gabapentin as well, since your doctor recommended it. It’s a very helpful drug when it comes to neuropathy, so it was surely prescribed to you for a reason. I’m sorry Nerve Renew didn’t seem to help you, but maybe it’s too early on. Still, combining it with Gabapentin may increase the therapeutic effect, so there is a higher chance that your pain fades away with time. As for the possible interactions (I’m guessing that’s the main reason behind your question), there shouldn’t be anything major. You can ask your doctor’s consent, though, to stay on the safe side.

Hi Olly. Please could you email the reply as I am in the UK. I am 64 years old and spiritually inclined to a massive fault. There is incessant and constant churning in my gullet where the digestive track opens and closes hence, I am increasingly also unable to swallow let along digest even soup. This seems better than Nerve Control 911 which is a tablet. Please note that I have tried homeopathy and Ayurveda as well as Riki which claim they address the chakra system, the main components being inside the digestive tract. As a consequence both NHS doctors and natural healers deny that these are negative, or else state they are chronic and do not treat the cause only the symptoms. I now ask specifically whether Nerve Review is usable for my specific symptoms as I have absolutely no pain in my body or legs/feet, no tingling sensations, and the back ache I sometimes have is due to extreme fatigues and sclerosis of the spine including carrying groceries. Make the last item secondary as I contacted you for the problem in my digestive track and acute diarrhea along with the incessant pain in my gullet and inability to sleep or now concentrate/think. Hey Anne, I was so impressed by your story. You have no idea how sorry I am to hear about the suffering and pain you’re going through. I really wish there was some product I could recommend you that would miraculously help you (at least reduce your pain partially), but I don’t think there is a miraculous remedy.
However, I will try to give you my view on the things you asked me. First of all, your pain might be because of neuropathy. This may not be the main cause behind, but it could be one of them. So in this case, a nerve pain supplement should help partially. As you said, Nerve Control 911 comes as tablets, so you cannot swallow those. As for Nerve Renew, it is made of gelatin, but it’s formulated as capsules. Its label even states “gelatin capsules”, that’s why I’m not sure if you can take this either.
So basically, all you have left are topical products, which don’t provide an actual long-term effect, unfortunately. However, there is a product I strongly recommend for all sorts of pain. It’s called Arctic Blast and it has a special formula (it’s made using a DMSO base, which has some much better absorption proprieties). It’s true that it’s a topical product with a short-term effect, so the relief is only temporary and it doesn’t treat the actual cause behind the pain. But at least it really helps with the pain (and very fast actually). Since you can only use topical products, I’m guessing it’s more suitable for your needs and hopefully, it will help you a little bit.
That’s the only product I can think of, since most of the others I recommend are supplements so they are designed as pills. I really hope this product can help you a bit and I wish I could give you more advice, but that’s all I can think of, right now.
Dear Olly. Thank you for your reply. I called Boots pharmacy in the UK today Easter Sunday and they are closed, so also, I guess tomorrow Easter Monday. Their website says they are open, when I called the tape said they are closed and to press a number to find the opening hours. This said they are open! I shall go there as soon as I can as the pain in the nerve in my gullet between my breasts is pinching hard – I think this leads to the brain. I am no longer a practicing Christian and all religions or none/interfaith as in equality acts. It is time to speak out against the propaganda by the divines. Unfortunately, my NHS doctors (GPs) do not know to help and I do not know where to turn. I shall try boots but am afraid to buy online as I have been hacked into on my 3 UK bank accounts (and 2 other countries where I lived and from). Thank you for this review, Olly! My mom used Nerve Renew for her nerve pain, she had diabetes and the pain had become unbearable at one point. It was helping her so she used it regularly. She passed away last year after a long journey (she was 92 years old). I also have neuropathy because of my diabetes but the pain wasn’t very bad until recently. I’m thinking that maybe the treatment I’m taking stopped working for me, so I will consult a doctor soon. But what I noticed is that they never give you any treatment for the pain other than those drugs that are supposed to help with the pain additionally, but they actually don’t. So I’m looking for a supplement now and I’m thinking about Nerve Renew because it really helped my mom. Does it have the same formula as back then or did it change?

I am fairly new to experiencing nerve pain. This is a long story so be patient. Originally, I thought I had a Morton’s neuroma in my right foot because I had all the symptoms. It started as a feeling of a pebble in center of my forefoot and progressed to a larger lump feeling over several weeks time. I am on my feet 10 plus hours a day for my job and the more I walked the larger the lump feeling would get, and more there was more intense pain. I was taking Ibuprofen every four hours and when it started to become more than I could tolerate without taking mega amounts of Ibuprofen, I decided it was time to see a foot specialist. Unfortunately; it took me 3 weeks to get an appointment, with a podiatrist, and by that time I had numbness in my toes, the ball of my foot and along the right side of the foot.
First visit after describing what was happening I received a cortisone shot and the nerve sensation seemed to be a bit less and my toes were not numb anymore. On my follow-up visit, two weeks later, I opted for another cortisone shot thinking the first one had helped. A few weeks pass, the nerve sensation is not gone, not much better either, but bearable for the most part. After three weeks and a few days, since my last visit, while stepping down on a step I hear and feel a pop in the bottom of my foot. It hurt like hell and I can’t bear any weight on the foot without intense pain.
Two days pass and I return to see the doctor who puts me in a boot for two weeks and I am not working. Each day the foot seems to improve but it still is painful in the heel and the arch so on my follow-up two weeks later I tell them this. They keep me in the boot for the time being and give me an order for an MRI. It takes me ten days to get in to get one done and another week to get another appointment to see the doctor. The MRI results reveal that I have inflammation and possibly a thickness tear of the plantar fascia at the front of the heal but interestingly enough no neuroma in my forefoot. I’m shocked and confused because only a few days earlier and about a week before that, I had tried to do a little more walking, and I experience the same nerve sensation in my forefoot area. They now say the MRI show severe neuropathy. Anyway, I’m still off work for two more weeks, with an order for physical therapy to help my foot in range of motion, etc. I have been off for the most part now for 5 weeks and don’t think anything will change in 2 more weeks except my arch and partial tear will have more time to heal.
Can neuropathy come on that fast? and which supplement would you suggest I try. I had been looking at the Nerve Control 911 when I stumbled upon your review and then read about Nerve Renew. Which do you think might help. Also, I have osteoarthritis in my foot and also one of my knees. Looking forward to your reply. Wondering; is it too soon to consider a supplement/ Should I wait a few more weeks and see if anything changes
Hey Gerald, I’m really sorry about these weird problems you seem to have.
Let me ask you first of all – other than your osteoarthritis, do you have any other conditions (like diabetes, fibromyalgia, etc.)? Neuropathy doesn’t appear that fast – an even if it did, the pain wouldn’t be so severe. Typically, neuropathy pain worsens over a period of months to years. So your case doesn’t sound like a neuropathy to me at all, simply because it’s too sudden and the symptoms are way too intense.
However, it is clear that the pain comes from your nerves. So even though you don’t have the classic neuropathy, you are indeed dealing with a case of nerve pain. Still, the main question is related to the cause. I can’t really tell what this problem appear, especially since it was very sudden.
My advice would be to wait for those 2 weeks and see how physical therapy goes, whether it helps or not. If it doesn’t and you’re still in pain, you could try a supplement but my only advice would be to combine it with your prescription treatment (if any). So don’t give up your drugs just to take a supplement, because a lot of people do this and I definitely don’t agree.
As for the exact supplement, I definitely recommend you Nerve Renew. Nerve Control 911 is better for general nerve health and mild pain, which is definitely not your case. On the other hand, Nerve Renew has the best pain relieving effect among all nerve pain supplements, that’s why I believe it’s exactly what you need.
So try to wait for 2 more weeks and give it a try only if your pain is still the same.

No fibromyalgia and no diabetes. However; I have however been borderline for years, (just under the threshold for diabetes), so that was my first thought so at the onset of the pain I scheduled with my primary physician to rule out diabetes which could result in a diabetic neuropathy. My blood test results came back as negative. I am a large man weighing in at around 290 lbs, and I have flat feet or a very low arch. I am also about to turn sixty in September. These all could be contributing factors along with the fact that I work and have worked at a job now for almost 17 years that requires me to be on my feet 10 plus hours a day. I regularly log 15,000 steps a day on my Fitbit device.
As far as osteoarthritis, I have been told that I have onset of osteoarthritis in my left knee by an orthopedic surgeon who performed surgery on me for a meniscus tear in Feb of 2020.
This recent MRI is my first knowledge of osteoarthritis in my foot.
Here is what the report says:
OSSEOUS STRUCTURES: Diffuse polyarticular osteoarthritis, severe at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and TMT joints with osteophytes, high grade cartilage loss, and subchondral cysts. High grade cartilage loss at the 1st metatarsal head, bipartite tibial sesamoid of the 1st MTP joint, and 1st TMT joint with subchondral cysts. No acute fracture. No osseous erosions. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hammer toes.
TENDONS:
Extensor: Normal.
Flexor: Normal.
LISFRANC LIGAMENT: Normal.
PLANTAR PLATES: Degeneration at the 1st metatarsal plantar plate. Normal 2nd through 5th metatarsal plantar plates.
INTERMETATARSAL REGION: Trace fluid at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd webspaces. No intermetatarsal neuroma.
PLANTAR FASCIA: Normal distal plantar fascia, partially visualized.
REMAINDER: Marker at the plantar aspect of the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal necks correlate to the region of interest. Mild diffuse muscle edema and volume loss, suggestive of chronic neuropathy. Mild edema in the dorsal subcutaneous fat, due to inflammation or fluid overload.

For never having any issues with my feet, this report is scary and depressing at the same time.
My ankle MRI shows inflammation of the plantar fascia and possible partial thickness tear. That happened after receiving two cortisone shots for the the nerve issue however it was almost four weeks after the second shot.
Anyway, I will wait the two weeks and see what happens. I skeptical about being able to return to work but I will try it and see what happens.
Hi Gerald, I know it’s not the best answer, but I think that waiting is the best thing you can do right now. Just like nerve pain, osteoarthritis is a condition that progresses quite slowly, so it’s weird that you had no symptoms at all and they suddenly became so hard to bear.
The fact that you’re almost 60 isn’t necessarily a risk factor. It’s true that OA can set in at this age – but again, its symptoms worsen over time, not as fast as it happened in your case.
My advice is to wait and see how things go – and if there’s absolutely no change, maybe try and see a different doctor, just to hear another opinion. Also, please keep me updated, as I’m very interested in your case and I will do my best to help you as much as I can.

Hello, my feet and the sides of my legs feel like their dying. I can’t move the muscles and tendons in my feet. I don’t have the common neuropathy pain as of yet but am afraid that this is going to put me in a wheel chair soon if I can’t find something that helps. Slowly over the Years I am losing all feeling. I honestly believe there is a solution for anything, as long as you manage to find the root cause. So tell me, when did all this begin? Was it after a certain moment or did your condition worsen with time? Also, was there a major event that caused it (an accident, injury, medical problem)? And how fast did it progress (you didn’t mention the exact time when it all began)?

Hi Lisa, Nerve Renew is the best supplement I know if you’re dealing with severe nerve pain. It contains a mix of ingredients that are the best for reducing the pain and repairing the damage nerves. On the other hand, if your pain is rather mild and you need a product to boost your general nerve health, Nerve Control 911 is the best. It’s not as strong at relieving pain as Nerve Renew, but it’s better for its general nerve benefits.
As for fibromyalgia, it’s pretty hard to recommend you a product that would reduce your pain, as fibromyalgia is a pretty personalized condition. But what I usually recommend are turmeric supplements, because turmeric is the best herbal anti-inflammatory. And you probably know that fibromyalgia pain is also caused by inflammation, so turmeric is the best thing you can get, if you ask me.

Now, she’s all better and the pain because of neuropathy is no longer much of a problem for her. I understand that there are a lot of e-tailers nowadays which made you doubt the authenticity of this review but I swear that we are independent and not connected with the manufacturer. Also, if you doubt this product, there are other supplements that you can also compare it too. Nerve Renew is just the one of the top–if not the best–that we found. In my opinion, I think he should make the switch because Nerve Renew is known to be more potent but is still very safe to use. Nerve Control on the other hand is much more suitable for mild and not severe neuropathy/nerve pain. But, you can also give the other treatments we found a shot. There are other options ranging from natural remedies up to medicines so you might be interested. However, just to be sure, you should still talk to your doctor.

Although I am currently satisfied with what I found (Nervexol), I think this supplement is also one of the products that I will consider once I finish my bottles because Nervexol can really get expensive. I live in the UK & soo the problem of import costs basically mean that I can’t take advantage of the bigger deals because it then comes in and gets Covid at customs and they just doubled in value it’s a nightmare.
So far nearly 4 years now I have been taking NERVE RENEW and NERVE RENEW optimizer and my neuropathy goes on getting worse and worse I feel like I’m losing my life now! Brought up Homeopathicaly it kinda made sense to me. Soo I sent for it. Just had one month & wasn’t expecting Anything to show up for at least three months I did actually start to feel the tiniest bit of relief on the periphery which was kind of shocking to me. However it’s been a nightmare getting them to get the reordering sorted out but I think that’s in hand now they will send me one a month. I then did start to look about this Thioctan.
Really to see if I could actually get just that element to maybe add to anything to get some relief I’m so tired of being in pain for the last 40 odd years with an original degenerative spine problem from a fall when I was six. Struggled and still do now with buprenorphine to keep it real severe pain under control. However I ended up in hospital in October with pneumonia and then I caught Covid while I was in the hospital and among other things they stopped my morphine cold while I was there and I had to discharge myself take my own canoe around March sharpish but it’s upset the balance of many years and I can’t get Back then no matter how I try I also in those six days lost 50% of my site so before I went into hospital I was driving managing to live independently despite the pain now I’m housebound and really feel I’m lost! I’m a state pension so penny list up to my eyes in there as ALL ELDERLY BRITS ARE..
While searching to see what I can find out I hit up on your site and family enough you were reviewing NERVE RENEW which is made me feel a little better about despite the fact I’ve had no good results from it and all this time but I have once or twice thought maybe I should just stop running myself up a bill every month as nothings happening. The only thing that stopped me, was my thinking what if without it it gets worse if that’s humanly possible kind of thing not nobody’s meant to live this long and in this much pain 24 seven I can’t sit now without my legs feet and legs going numb to above my knees and my hands and arms going numb to above my elbows all of it Numb but with excruciating pain. When I lay down my whole body goes numb it’s really scary I have had no help whatsoever here on the NHS they just come back to the fact that there’s nothing we can do! There’s a couple of drugs they use to help here with leg pain but neither of them have ever done anything for me whatsoever and they have horrible side effects!
You give all the reasons here why this is the best I feel relieved I’ve landed in the right camp , But should I be taking this VITA SOOTHE PRO on top is it likely to help is that THIOCTAN Root something that really can help with Neuropathy. I’m not quite sure how I got here with my site being so bad I really don’t do much online at all it’s really hard now but I don’t know if you reviewed that VITA SOOTHE PRO in another report or not.
I’m just awaiting the second bottle in the next couple of weeks to try another month to see if there really was any beneficial effect however with I nearly 3 week break in trying to re-order the second bottle means I’m probably back to square one again.
But if it would actually do something for me. If just for a few hours a day or if I could even sit and watch a movie and I have my mind away from the pain but the minute I say I’m in crisis.
Really worn out now I’m exhausted. I didn’t expect miracles when I I lost all the way and got my blood sugars back to an acceptable level but I didn’t expect it to go getting worse!
Why do you feel like I’m waiting through mud unfortunately now I don’t see very well and I’m so unwell with the pain which is affecting my concentration I can’t focus very well because I’m bouncing like I’m in a baby bouncer and swimming constantly so focusing on anything is very hard on this little tiny phone is the worst! But the lack of concentration now makes it very hard for me to search for things were still to absorb what I’m reading I managed to lock it away and keep it trying to write things down all the time but writing is so painful to sort of trying very hard to see what other people say and then get some hints of why it just hasn’t done the same for me?

Hi Samantha, thank you so much for sharing your story! I’m extremely sorry to hear about all your struggle, I can’t even imagine how hard it must be for you. But I really admire you for trying your best to get through, you’re a real warrior and a true example for me.
I have a lot of readers that got back to me with some positive feedback about Nerve Renew, but I also had a few that weren’t very satisfied. Now, if you’ve been taking Nerve Renew for 4 years with no improvement (on the contrary, with pain worsening, actually), I would advise you to stop it. Giving it up won’t really make your pain even worse, I’m quite sure about that. And if it really does, you can just restart Nerve Renew. But since it’s not working, there’s no point spending your money on it.
Regarding Vita Soothe Pro, I haven’t really heard about it, but I tried to check it out and its features make me think about Bio Soothe Pro, which is not a product I would recommend. However, that’s just a feeling, so I would say you’re not losing anything if you give it a try. But there’s no point combining it with Nerve Renew, so just take Vita Soothe Pro alone.
In case this product doesn’t help after 2-3 months either, there’s another one that I recommend and it’s called Nerve Control 911. However, I recommend it more for milder cases of neuropathy and general nerve health, so for people whose nerve pain isn’t that severe. For more severe cases, I recommend Nerve Renew, which is stronger, but it didn’t really work for you. So Nerve Control 911 may not be super effective, but it may also work – so why not give it a try if all the other options fail?
Also, maybe you want to take a look at these home remedies for nerve damage (which is what you probably have, given the intensity of your pain), as well as at these treatments. You tried some of them, but not all, so if there’s any small chance that any of them helps you, you really have to try it out.
I really wish I could help you more and recommend something that will reduce your pain instantly, but unfortunately, I can’t.

I’ve just discovered your reviews and they are very helpful. Thank you. In your review of Lutenol, you praise cyanocobalamin over cobalamin. You wrote, “… Cyancobalamin is a superior form of vitamin B12 (a lot more powerful than regular cobalamin)…”. In this review of Nerve Renew you state, in reference to Vit. B12, “I’m talking about methylcobalamine (while most supplements contain plain cyancobalamine).
Compared to cyancobalamine – the methyl version has a superior absorption and a stronger effect.”
Olly, I can use Lutenol and Nerve Renew. What is the bottom line on absorbency of B12?
Hi Grace, you’re totally right. Shortly – methylcobalamine is the best version of vitamin B12, because it has by far the best absorption among all of its forms. However, methylcobalamin has a lot more benefits for nerve pain, as it regenerates damaged nerves and it really helps with pain. Now, cyancobalamine can also do that, but its absorption is lower, so its overall benefits are not that significant, simply because a lower quantity reaches the destination.
Now, in terms of eye benefits, vitamin B12 is indeed very helpful – but it doesn’t make such a huge difference as it does for neuropathy. So its effect on nerve pain is a lot more powerful than on vision. For this reason, it’s not that important whether it comes as methyl or as cyanocobalamin in Lutenol. Ideally – it would be methylcobalamin, which has a better absorption overall, but I don’t remember seeing any vision supplement containing metyhlcobalamin.
If vitamin B12 alone was so helpful for eyesight as well, I would only advise you to take Nerve Renew. But it’s not – and Lutenol has several other nutrients that are a lot more helpful for your vision, so I prefer combining both supplements, in order to get their separate benefits.
But from what I understood – your question was whether you could take both Lutenol and Nerve Renew at the same time, am I right? You definitely can, because their doses of vitamin B12 (whether it’s methyl or cyancobalamin) aren’t as high as to become dangerous. Besides, a higher intake of vitamin B12 isn’t necessarily dangerous. Obviously, I don’t recommend taking a double dose of both Lutenol and Nerve Renew, but I think you get my point. Lots of supplements for various issues (hair, blood sugar, immunity) contain vitamin B12 additionally, so a higher intake won’t harm you in any way (as long as it’s not a real overdose – like 30 times more than the daily recommended dose).

If so, 1) is ordering from their site still the least expensive option?; 2) What is the minimum number of bottles I will need to start to see results? (I live on a fixed monthly income.); 3) Is there a way to avoid the aggressive selling on the site and just order? All of the selling gets on my nerves. Seriously, no pun intended.

Hey Grace. You’re right, my review of Nerve Renew was indeed written 2 years ago, but it’s still my top recommendation for severe nerve pain. There’s also Nerve Control 911, which is another great product for nerves, but I recommend it for milder cases of pain and rather for general nerve health. So it’s better for prevention or for people who want to improve their nerve health (especially people with diabetes, as they tend to develop neuropathy). But Nerve Renew is much better for nerve pain, because its formula is specially designed to reduce severe cases of pain. From what you said, I think Nerve Renew would be a better fit for you.
Regarding your questions:
1) Their official website is the only one selling the 100% original version. It was also available at times in other retailers and the prices were shockingly lower, but I had some readers who fell into this trap and many of them complained about the product not working at all. When I asked them where they bought it from, I had a lot of them admitting buying it from a cheaper retailer. So that’s why I insist on telling people to go for the official website and what I also advise you. It would be a waste of money to pay anything on a product that is fake and that doesn’t even work as well as the original.
2) It depends on how severe your case is and on how badly damaged are your nerves. But I would say 1-3 months is a good period. If there are no results after 3 months, it’s clear that it’s not working. But I’m pretty sure that won’t be the case.
3) I totally understand what you mean, I know there are so many website aggressively promoting their products and somehow forcing your to buy them. But try to just add the product into your cart and ignore all the other offers they try to make you.

I saw a neurologist last June (2023) and he ran several tests and concluded that I am dealing with peripheral neuropathy. He recommended a B 12 supplement and physical therapy which I am following.
Do you feel that Nerve Renew would help me and would it be a problem since I am already taking the B 12 supplement?

Hey Joseph, you can take both without any worries because there’s no vitamin B12 overdosing. According to research, our bodies don’t absorb the entire B12 dose from a supplement. Instead, the amount that isn’t absorbed is immediately eliminated. Sure enough, the dose absorbed is higher if the supplement contains a superior version of B12 (as Nerve Renew does).
But the point is that our bodies eliminate the unnecessary doses of vitamin B12 immediately. So there’s no risk of overdosing, this is why it’s safe to take a vitamin B12 supplement with another product that also has vitamin B12 in it. Hope this helps you!
