It’s time to review a very interesting blood sugar product – so is Smart Blood Sugar Book a scam?
Or is it worth buying in reality?:
- quite expensive
- comes with some extra materials
- very little info about the program
So what's the truth behind this diabetes book?
Let's see if this product is really effective, in this review.
Note: This review is based on my opinion + research on Smart Blood Sugar Book.
Review Summary
Full Name: Smart Blood Sugar by Dr. Marlene Merritt
Product Type: Diabetes/Blood Sugar Book
Best Actual Prize: Around $37
Cheapest Place To Buy: Its official website
Designed For: Regulating blood sugar levels, as well as:
- boosting energy levels
- promoting weight loss
- improving cardiovascular health
My Rating: 5 out of 10
Recommended?: Not really – I found enough disadvantages:
- not too affordable
- few customers reviews available
- not a lot of info on the program
If you ask me, I strongly advise you to get an internal product instead.
It can treat the problem from the inside, so it's way more effective in improving diabetes.
What I Liked About It
- Includes meal plans and food advice
- Offers some bonus materials
- Comes with a professional website
- Written by an experienced healthcare professional
What I Didn’t Like About It
- Only a few customers reviews available
- Pretty pricey for what it can offer
- Promoted by many untrustworthy websites
- Does not come with a lot of content
Smart Blood Sugar In A Nutshell
Now – Smart Blood Sugar is not super impressive.
It's a normal book without too much content.
Also, it comes with some bonus materials (aside from the main book).
However – I just find it a gimmick.
That's simply because the bonus materials are pretty much part of the content.
They were just separated from the main book to seem like an extra bonus.
But its content is almost identical to that of the book.
Other than that – I found some additional red flags:
- very few opinions from previous users
- some questionable websites promote it
- pricey for the quality it offers
Now – there are 2 versions available (digital and physical package).
But both have the same price.
The grand total of the book is $36.99 (book + shipping fee).
Again, the shipping fee is non-negotiable, so you can't get any more discounts.
Honestly – I don't think it's a good option for your money.
Its overall advantages are on the lower side.
So it's not a diabetes product I would necessarily recommend.
#1 – How It Works & Producer
Here are the things you need to know about Smart Blood Sugar Book:
- the methods it promotes
- what are the contents inside it
- who is the author of the book
1. How It Works
If you ask me, Smart Blood Sugar comes with several big promises.
First of all – it claims to “heal blood sugar the easy way.”
It says to work through several ways:
- reduces unwanted weight
- promotes healthy blood sugar levels
- increases energy levels
- improves heart health
To clarify, it promises to reverse diabetes in a natural way.
In order to do this, you need to follow the recipes it recommends (according to its claims).
But as I always say – no treatment, supplement or book can reverse diabetes.
If there was any single one that could – everyone would be using it.
So all products claiming to reverse diabetes are only exaggerating, because none can do that.
Back to Smart Blood Sugar – its official website is hard to follow.
So it's not a good product presentation, if you ask me – on the contrary.
Overall – I'm not impressed with it.
As I said – in reality, a book can't really reverse diabetes.
So why would it promise to do that, when it actually can't?
2. Producer
The writer of the Smart Blood Sugar Book is Dr. Marlene Merritt.
After researching, here's what I found out about her:
- certified functional medicine practitioner
- founder of Merritt Wellness and nutritionist
- an author, public speaker and teacher
- this exact book comes with an official website
- contact info includes customer support email and number
If you ask me, the author is pretty experienced.
So her credibility is not questionable.
But that doesn't explain why her book's claims are clearly exaggerated.
Given her experience, she definitely knows that a book's recommendation cannot cure diabetes.
But she's probably only trying to sell her product, nothing more.
#2 – Course Content (5 out of 10)
Smart Blood Sugar's content is not very large:
- one main book (description and manual)
- 5 bonus gifts (supplementary materials)
As I said – I don't think that those 5 materials are bonus gifts.
They look extremely similar to the book content.
So in my opinion, they don't really bring anything new.
Instead – it seems like most of their content is the same as that of the book.
Besides, they also focus a lot on the program promoted by the book.
So overall – I feel like these 5 bonus gifts are only on paper.
But let's take a look at the main chapters from this book.
1. Main Book/Manual
The main book of Smart Blood Sugar covers 3 main subjects:
- Some general details about diabetes
- How to use the extra materials
- How this book can help your diabetes
If you ask me, its content is quite easy to read and straight to the point.
However – the book itself not a stand-alone treatment.
Unlike a supplement/drug, it has no direct impact on your diabetes.
That's why I'm not such a big fan of courses and books.
Their recommendations can help – but don't expect them to work as well as an internal product.
2. 7-Day Meal Plan and Grocery List
As I said – Smart Blood Sugar Book has some supplementary materials.
And you can pretty much guess what the first one contains (from its name).
It comes with several recipes and the meal plan.
Obviously, its ingredients are suited for people with diabetes.
So it's pretty basic to follow, if you ask me.
3. Carb Count Cheat Sheet
Smart Blood Sugar Book also contains a booklet.
This is the place where you can record your food intake.
So it can help you track if you're on the right way (or not).
But honestly – there's nothing special about it.
It's just a simple sheet you can make on your own, honestly.
So Smart Blood Sugar gets another bad point here.
4. Other Materials Included
As I mentioned, these extra materials are part of the package:
- 99 Food for Diabetics
- How to Read a Food Label
- Alcohol That Works
Like I said – they seem to be part of the book.
I feel like they were separated just to make it seem like you're getting some free gifts.
But their info is pretty similar to that of the book, so there's nothing extra.
Conclusion
Overall – Smart Blood Sugar's content looks like a gimmick.
I don't think the bonus materials are actually a bonus.
They look like they part of the normal book.
So even though the content is easy to follow, it's not really worth paying for it.
#3 – Results (5 out of 10)
If you ask me, Smart Blood Sugar has limited reviews.
That's because it has a low number of comments and most of them are almost identical.
Note: I only analyzed real reviews, not fake/promotional ones.
1. What People Say
As I normally do – I will highlight the reviews from Amazon.
It's simply that they are more honest real there.
The overall rating of Smart Blood Sugar Book is 4.2/5 stars, which is more than great.
So here are the views of people who tried it:
- Some customers said that their blood sugar levels decreased.
- Others mentioned that it's very helpful and informative.
- There are people who also stated that it's not complicated to read.
- A lot of the previous customers mentioned that it's very pricey.
- Most of them said that it keeps promoting a supplement from its brand.
- The rest just stated that most content is available online for free.
As you can see, the positive feedback is not that impactful.
So you can just get most of the changes this book promotes even without buying it.
Also – outside Amazon, most of its praises come from websites that seem to be biased:
- writers haven't even read the book
- only promote general facts about it
- no one has even tried to follow its recommendation
- even so, those reviews claim this book is amazing
In my view – those 3rd part websites are pretty hard to trust.
As for the complaints this book has, they look pretty honest.
That especially when it comes to its price and the content it offers.
Some of the information can be easily found online (for free).
Conclusion
To sum it up, Smart Blood Sugar Book's reviews are straightforward.
Some people noticed some positive changes and others complained about it.
In my view, it doesn't do what it claims (reverse diabetes).
So with that, I can't recommend it.
#4 – Side Effects (6 out of 10)
So far – I didn't see any feedback about Smart Blood Sugar's side effects.
The reason is the limited number of people who tried it.
However – I read some comments about it not working.
Instead, those experienced no improvement at all.
Other than that:
- It doesn't look like it could cause too many side effects.
- But it's definitely can't reverse diabetes naturally.
If you ask me, I don't recommend you to stop your prescriptions and replace them with this book's recommendation.
On the contrary – I advise you NOT to do that.
Any product that advise you to do that is a scam!
Again – a book can't really reverse diabetes.
If you give up your prescribed drugs, you might experience worsening in your diabetes.
So be careful and always follow your doctor's recommendation, more than anything else!
#5 – Price (3.5 out of 10)
Honestly – Smart Blood Sugar is quite pricey.
It's not a great option in terms of money, in my view.
1. The Exact Price
Now – Smart Blood Sugar has 2 versions.
As I said it's available in online marketplaces.
But I will feature the price from its official website:
- Digital copy costs $27
- Physical copy costs $27
- Shipping fee is $9.99
Honestly – every purchase has a grand total of $36.99.
It's automatically added upon checkout, so you don't have a choice.
Also – it doesn't come with free shipping, so that's the standard price overall.
Again, it's not the best book and the bonus gifts aren't really free (in my view).
So I couldn't recommend it, I simply don't consider it a great option.
In my opinion, it's rather expensive for its content and value.
2. Competitors’ Price
If you're really looking for a better option, try Diabetes Masterclass.
It's my #1 recommended book for diabetes:
- Diabetes Masterclass is a 3 phase course that focuses on improving diabetes.
- It has 6-part videos and it offers 4 diabetes e-books.
- Smart Blood Sugar Book comes with a manual and 5 bonus gifts.
- It has some recipes and it gives some tips for diabetic people.
- Diabetes Masterclass is only $19.97 with lifetime access to the course.
- Smart Blood Sugar Book's total price is $36.99 for any version.
If you ask me, Diabetes Masterclass is the better alternative.
It comes with more content and it's very specific with the lessons it teaches.
Not to mention that its recommendations are much better for improving diabetes.
So honestly – it's the better investment of your money.
Now – I recommend you to use it together with a supplement called Gluco Cleanse Tea.
It's the best internal product I know for diabetes.
Conclusion
Overall – Smart Blood Sugar is quite pricey.
Some of its content and features are pretty basic.
You can actually learn some of its recommendations online, without buying it.
So if I were you, I would surely look for other options with a better quality.
#6 – Final Conclusion
Here are my summarized opinions on Smart Blood Sugar.
1. Not A Lot Of Content
As I mentioned, Smart Blood Sugar looks promising at first.
It contains the following materials:
- one main book/manual
- 5 free bonus gifts
But honestly, the main book doesn't come with too much content.
Instead, it's rather a single book divided into booklets.
Plus – its bonus materials bring in pretty much the same recommendations as the book.
So its overall content is quite disappointing.
2. Only Limited Reviews
Again – Smart Blood Sugar has limited customer reviews.
So it's hard to tell if it's really effective or not.
Also – there are several questionable websites that promote it.
But the reviews from online marketplaces are more honest, in my view.
Overall – there are still insufficient testimonies to tell if it's worth it or not.
3. Quite Pricey
For the last part, Smart Blood Sugar is expensive.
It has 2 versions and any of them costs $36.99.
Now – the book's price is $27, but there's no free shipping.
But if you ask me, the pricing looks a little tricky.
So it's not something I recommend.
My Verdict – Worth Or Not?
Short answer: Not really – there are several cons about it:
- Low amount of content
- Very few reviews from previous users
- Several questionable website promotes it
- Quite expensive for what it offers
In my view, Smart Blood Sugar Book is not that promising.
Now – it looks like a great package at first.
But in reality, the division of content is really tricky (in my view).
If you want to look for a better investment, look for another alternative.
Let me advise you to try the best diabetes program I know.
The product I'm talking about is called Diabetes Masterclass:
- Really effective in improving diabetes
- A lot of customers recommend it
- Comes with some original methods
- Gives more lessons for a lower price
In my view, Diabetes Masterclass is way better than Smart Blood Sugar Book.
Its materials are better and it's closer to improving diabetes.
Also – it can stand alone (even without its bonus materials).
Now, I recommend you to combine it with a supplement like Gluco Cleanse Tea.
It's the best internal product I know against diabetes.
