Plexaderm VS Sudden Change (2023 Review) – Which Is Better?

It’s time to choose the better anti-aging cream – Plexaderm VS Sudden Change.

Both of them are meant to quickly fix the under-eye area problems.

But which has some better features?:

  • stronger formulation
  • positive feedback
  • good deal

I analyzed each product's info, in order to help you make the right choice (+ video).

Note: This review is based on my experience + research on these 2 products.

Plexaderm VS Sudden Change? (In A Nutshell)

After digging really deep into these products, I can say that Sudden Change is slightly better:

  1. More affordable
  2. Better user reviews
  3. Consistency closer to a serum
  4. Offers a better deal

Plexaderm also has its own good side, but it's not enough to pick it as the winner.

On the other hand, Sudden Change has a better score in most chapters.

For instance, it costs as low as $22.50 – while Plexaderm  is quite pricey ($60).

Still – both products do the same thing, which is to give a quick aesthetic fix.

So in my view, you should go for the cheaper one – which is Sudden Change.

However – the product I actually swear by is nor Plexaderm, neither Sudden Change.

I actually recommend a much better alternative:

  • has a long-term anti-wrinkle effect
  • works from the inside
  • treats the actual skin damage

It costs $60 (about the same as Plexaderm) – but I assure you that it's a lot more worth it.

But anyway – if I really had to choose between these 2 products, I would probably go for Sudden Change.

#1 – Ingredients – WINNER: Plexaderm

After looking into each product's ingredients – I can say that Plexaderm has some better compounds than Sudden Change:

  • contains some major skin care ingredients
  • also has some plant extract
  • contains a higher number of ingredients overall

So in terms of formula and potency, Plexaderm is clearly better.

But I will give you more details about each product's full ingredient list.

Note: I analyzed the key ingredients of the two skin care products.

1. Plexaderm's Ingredients

Plexaderm's formula is quite promising because of the key ingredients inside it:

  1. Argireline – reduces wrinkles and fine lines [1]
  2. Soluble Collagen – gives a filler-like effect [2]
  3. Hydrolyzed Rice Protein – keeps skin moisturized [3]

For an aesthetic product, this serum's components are good.

But honestly – if you're expecting long-term benefits, you might not get it.

As I said in my detailed review of it, Plexaderm isn't an actual anti-aging treatment.

All it does is to mask the signs for a short while, that's why it's not a product I would necessarily recommend.

2. Sudden Change's Ingredients

Again – Sudden Change is also an aesthetic product – so don't expect too much from its formula.

The only ingredients that have some actual benefits are the following:

  1. Hyaluronic Acid – retains moisture and deeply hydrates [4]
  2. Serum Albumin – smooths fine wrinkles [5]
  3. Quaternium-15 – refines the bumpy texture [6]

The rest of the compounds are just common skin care ingredients.

And I don't think they can do a lot – or even contribute to making the formula a good one.

That's why Sudden Change isn't very strong, in terms of composition.

So as I said – I wouldn't expect too much from it.

Conclusion

If you're looking for more benefits – out of the 2 products, Plexaderm has some better ingredients.

But in reality, they will both provide you with a short-term effect only.

When I say short-term, I mean that their effect will literally last for hours only.

So comparing these two serums, Plexaderm is a better aesthetic product (in terms of ingredients).

#2 – Consistency & Dosage  WINNER: Sudden Change

Plexaderm and Sudden Change are both serums – so I picked the winner based on 2 criteria:

  • which has a more serum-like texture
  • which has better instructions

So between these two products – Sudden Change is the slightly better.

1. Plexaderm

Here's how I would describe this serum's physical appearance:

  • color: light to medium beige
  • consistency: slightly thick
  • smell: faint scent

And here's how you should use this product based on the listing from Plexaderm's website:

  1. Apply the serum in upward and outward strokes.
  2. Wait for 10 minutes or until the product soaks in.
  3. Apply it daily.

There are also some tips on how you can use this serum with other products:

  • apply only oil-free moisturizer 10-20 minutes prior
  • use makeup with dry/powdery formula

Plexaderm has a full info at this chapter, which is great for consumer queries.

2. Sudden Change

Between these 2 products, Sudden Change looks more like a serum:

  • color: semi-clear yellowish liquid
  • consistency: a little thick
  • smell: very light scent

In terms of instructions, there are 2 ways to apply it (with or without foundation):

  1. To use it alone, apply 2 drops to clean and dry skin.
  2. To use with foundation, add 2 drops of serum (the ratio is 2:1).
  3. Wait for 3 minutes for the product to set.

It's great to see that this serum included a special direction on how to use it with makeup.

In my view, that's a requirement if you want to have the complete instructions.

Conclusion

Sudden Change looks more like a serum because of its overall consistency and looks.

And Plexaderm looks more like a cream – judging after its photos.

In terms of instructions and tips, both products have satisfied this requirement.

Overall – it's quite easy to tell which has a better texture here.

#3 – Results  WINNER: Sudden Change

Both products have hits and miss when it comes to customers' reviews.

But overall, Sudden Change has more satisfied customers (in my view).

Let's take a look at what buyers wrote about these products.

Note: I only analyzed authentic reviews, not promotional or fake ones.

1. Plexaderm

Upon looking at the reviews of Plexaderm on Amazon, it has a rating 3.9 stars out of 5.

Here are the most common opinions from people who tried it:

  1. A lot of users say it works and that it reduced their fine lines.
  2. Most claim it acted quickly to cover up and fill the lines.
  3. There are some complaints saying that the pump is not working.
  4. Some received a dried-up product or an empty bottle.

Plexaderm has mixed reviews, which proves that a lot of people actually tried it.

And having these authentic comments is always a good sign for me.

2. Sudden Change

Now, let's check the reviews Sudden Change received from people who tried it:

  1. Most users say the effect last for several hours.
  2. A lot of buyers noticed that their skin looked younger and the wrinkles were gone.
  3. Some people experienced a flaky film under the eye area.
  4. There are people who claim it doesn't work well with makeup.

Overall – Sudden Change got a rating of 3.5 stars on Amazon.

Even if it has a lower rating, the reviews for this serum are more forgiving overall.

Conclusion

Plexaderm and Sudden Change are both available on Amazon.

I compared the comments of users on each product – in order to decide which is the winner.

Considering also the weight of its negative comments, I think Plexaderm looks pretty bad overall.

So for this round, Sudden Change has better results.

Based on the authenticity of the comments, I consider it superior here.

#4 – Side Effects WINNER: Sudden Change

Side effects are quite common in anti-aging product, since they are meant for topical use.

So for this chapter – let's take a look at what these products caused in various people.

1. Plexaderm

Just like any product, Plexaderm is not free of complaints about side effects:

  • irritations in the skin and eyes
  • skin abrasion
  • redness and burning sensation
  • skin swelling

In my opinion, these side effects are pretty serious and significant.

That's especially available for the skin abrasion – because the product can cause a skin-deep infection.

This also means that Plexaderm's formula can be too harsh for some.

2. Sudden Change

Sudden Change also causes side effects – based on its previous users' opinions:

  • burning sensation/itchiness
  • blurred vision/eye irritation

Now, these issues are quite common because not all products are suitable for everyone.

For the eye irritation part, I consider it a common issue.

That's anything foreign to the eyes will cause this specific side effect.

Conclusion

Overall – it's obvious that  Sudden Change is safer to use.

The listed side effects experienced by users are common and normal.

On the other hand – Plexaderm's adverse reactions were quite serious.

#5 – Price WINNER: Sudden Change

For this chapter, my requirements for the winner are the following:

  • lower price
  • higher quantity of product
  • deals/bundles

And so far – Sudden Change has a better pricing than Plexaderm.

Note: I will only analyze the price of the 2 skin care products (without the other products from their range).

1. Plexaderm

The deals offered by Plexaderm are quite interesting:

  • Trial Pack (6 applications) that costs $14.95
  • A full bottle costs $59.95
  • “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” offer costs $119.90

Although there are 3 offers available for this serum, I still consider it quite expensive.

You get a very small amount overall (5 ml).

It's true that it's an under-eye serum and this quantity should last a lot.

But for this price, the quantity seems like a joke. That's why Plexaderm is very pricey.

2. Sudden Change

Upon checking the product's official website, there are different bundles for Sudden Change:

  • A pack costs $22.50
  • 2 packs cost $24.64
  • 3 packs cost $35.86

Now, let me clarify this.

One pack means 1 full-sized bottle and the quantity of the product inside is 7 ml.

So considering the amount you get for the price, I think it's a good deal so far.

Conclusion

Upon comparing , Sudden Change is a better choice.

Considering the requirements I listed in the first part of this chapter, the winner is obvious.

Again – Plexaderm and Sudden Change are both aesthetic products.

So I don't think it's practical to spend a lot of money on their short-term effect.

Better go for something that treats the problem from the inside, in the long run.

#6 – Pros & Cons

If you're still thinking about which product to try, I will give you a quick summary to help you.

Here are each product's Pros and Cons.

1. Plexaderm

2. Sudden Change

#7 – My Video Review

My Verdict – Plexaderm Or Sudden Change?

Short answer: Probably Sudden Change – because of the its overall results:

  • Plexaderm won 2 chapters
  • Sudden Change won 4 chapters

Both products are made for aesthetic purposes only and for a quick cover-up.

And between these 2, Sudden Change will give you a better deal overall:

  • super cheap
  • higher amount of product
  • better reviews

Honestly – if I had to give you my true recommendation, it wouldn't be any of these products.

Instead – I would advise you to check Kollagen Intensiv from Skinception:

  1. Excellent formula and great ingredients.
  2. Has some clinical evidence behind.
  3. Provides some long-term anti-aging benefits.
  4. Treats the skin from the inside out.
  5. Works way better than Plexaderm and Sudden Change.

The price of this cream is around $60, but you can get it for only $36.

Even if it looks expensive, it's clearly is worth the investment.

It contains 60 ml/jar, which is a much higher quantity than any of the 2 other products.

But most importantly – you will get a long-term anti-aging effect, not just an aesthetic and short one.

So overall, I would definitely go for this product instead, it's simply a better choice.

best anti aging

  1. Fantastic tips – thanks a lot! Perhaps a worthy addition would be giving a list of standards and then comparing both products too with it. 2 products look very not good so we need something to know what is good and what is not. My girlfriend has got a pretty bad condition of dark spots and wrinkles but she is still young. We’re both trying to find the right product for her. Perhaps a quality skin care product would really help her would you recommend a treatment? I’m being such a supportive boyfriend hope you can give us tips.

    1. Hello Julius! Since I am comparing the two products, I sort of focused on the feature of the two. I think it would be a little off if I insist on my recommended product all the time. If you want, you can read about Kollagen Intensiv because it is my standard and I like it very much. You’re very sweet and she is very lucky. I hope she will like the product you choose to recommend. Thanks for dropping by.

  2. Well, time for a switch, I guess? I’ve been looking into Sudden change for a while now–and now I’m convinced. But still, maybe I can still take a look at your recommended product? Whow knows if my mind changes then.

    1. Hi Caroline! Thanks for leaving a feedback, glad that this review was useful to you. I do agree that Sudden change is better that Plexaderm (as evident in the rating and reasons/chapter of this article) but Kollagen Intensiv remain to be the best in our opinion. It has been proven effective by the numerous customers it has albeit the high price it may seem to have (because its quality is excellent). Anyway, I believe that you should choose what seems better and fits your budget.

      All the best,
      Angelica

  3. Wife uses Plexaderm and now it’s lying around. Another addition to her collection of trash/product unused.

  4. Hey guys, I’m speaking from experience and honestly? both are not as good as Kollagen INtensiv. Like them, I have also been in doubt. even so, I am totally glad now that I took a chance. I did not come across with their review so I am totally surprised that there is a review about it since it’s not really well-known unlike plexderm and others. ANyway, word of advice, take it from me and try kollagen intensiv too.

    p.s. Thanks for the review!

    1. What’s up, Kiri? This is Angelica. It’s really okay to follow your own because we are only here to give our own 2 cents based from our research and/or experiences. Still, so glad that you found the product for you!

  5. Loved the review. It made it easy for me to understand what works and what doesn’t in every chapter. I’ll look into your recommended product but do you have any other tips/recommendations to look younger?
