My Emuaid Review (For Nail Fungus) – Scam Or Legit?

It’s time for Emuaid Review for Nail Fungus – so is this product a scam or is it legit?

How exactly should you use it for nail fungus?

And does it actually work for this problem?:

  • decent ingredients
  • very expensive
  • causes a lot of side effects

Let's find out whether this product is worth trying or not in the following lines.

Note: This review is based on my opinion + research on Emuaid.

Review Summary

Full Name: EMUAIDMAX First Aid Ointment by EMUAID Speer Laboratories

Product Type: Topical Ointment

Best Actual Price: Around $58

Cheapest Place To Buy: Amazon

Designed For: Improving and reducing several skin conditions:

  • poison ivy
  • fungal infections
  • hemorrhoids
  • severe boils

It's not a specially designed anti-fungal product, however.

My Rating: 5 out of 10

Recommended?: Not really –it's not made to treat fungal infections exclusively:

  • weak formula for fungus
  • quite pricey
  • possible side reactions

So even if it may help with mild fungus, it's way too weak to work for moderate/severe forms.

That's why I advise you to try the best anti-fungal treatment on the market.

What I Liked About It

  • Has a variety of ingredients
  • Made by a reputable producer
  • Has a lot of authentic reviews behind
  • Informative and professional website

What I Didn’t Like About It

  • Weak formula against fungal infections
  • Doesn't fight the root cause
  • Very expensive for its potency and effect
  • Can cause a lot of side effects
  • May not work at all (because of its homeopathic composition)
  • Its potential effect doesn't last for a long while

Emuaid In A Nutshell

Emuaid is a homeopathic remedy for severe skin conditions.

Based on its website, it has 2 versions:

  • Emuaid® First Aid Ointment Regular Strength
  • EmuaidMAX® First Aid Ointment Maximum Strength

But I will focus on the second one (Max version).

Now – the product is very promising at first sight.

But let me show you its less visible part:

  • based on a homeopathic (so very diluted) formula
  • doesn't necessarily focus on fungus
  • can cause enough side effects
  • improvement (if any) is only temporary

Now, homeopathic treatments have no solid studies behind them.

That's why their effect is rather questionable if you ask me.

I also want to point out that Emuaid's price starts at $58 for 2 oz (59 ml).

Honestly, that's literally huge – especially for what it offers.

Lastly, it seems to cause a lot of alarming side effects.

So honestly, it's not the best deal, considering its overall quality.

#1 – Claims & Producer

Let's start with some basic info you need to know about Emuaid:

  • what infections it treats
  • how it works
  • who is the company behind
1. Claims

Like I said – there are 2 versions of Emuaid (according to its strength):

  • Emuaid® First Aid Ointment Regular Strength
  • EmuaidMAX® First Aid Ointment Maximum Strength

Now – Emuaid brings in a very strong claim when it comes to its effectiveness.

It states to help 10 different health conditions – including:

  • neuropathy
  • fungal infections
  • rashes and psoriasis
  • hemorrhoids
  • itchy conditions
  • eczema

In other words, Emuaid claims to reduce pain, itching, and inflammation.

Also – another promise is that it “eliminates 99.99% of bacteria in less than 1 minute.”

Honestly, that's pretty much impossible.

And lastly, the description says that it's safe and made from natural ingredients.

If you ask me, these are a lot of claims for homeopathic medicine.

Usually, these types of products have very low doses of ingredients.

Not to mention that there are no solid studies to prove their effectiveness.

So I wouldn't expect too much from Emuaid, especially since it promises such miracles.

2. Company Behind

EMUAID® Speer Laboratories is the producer behind this cream.

Based on my careful research, here's the info you can find on the website:

  • sells ointments and moisture bars
  • there are also probiotics, acne treatments and inhalers
  • they have a detailed contact page

Now – I noticed that the company is still small and expanding.

But there are a lot of customer reviews to prove that it's not a scam.

So overall – I would say that it's safe to buy from this brand, they're not going to scam you.

#2 – Formula (4 out of 10)

Emuaid is a homeopathic medicine, according to its label.

So I'm not a big fan of this type of products, since homeopathy doesn't have any solid studies.

Also, its ingredients are extremely diluted – up to the point where their dose is insignificant.

Now – Emuaid isn't only designed for fungus, but for many other skin conditions.

Its formula can be broken down into 2 categories (active + other ingredients).

So let's take a close look at the compounds inside this product.

1. Active Ingredients

There's only one active compound present in Eumuaid.

It's called 10x, 20x, 30x HPUS Argentum Metallicum (Colloidal Silver).

Based on my research, here are some of its benefits:

  • treats or prevent viral infections
  • antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties [1]
  • counteracts bacteria/fungal matters

The researchers talk more about its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory abilities.

That's why it seems rather weak in terms of reducing fungal infections.

But most importantly – this ingredient comes in a very diluted form here.

So its active concentration is extremely low (almost insignificant, if you ask me).

That's why I don't consider it very potent.

2. Other Ingredients

On the other hand, here are some of the other ingredients present:

  • Bacillus Ferment – removes dead skin cells [2]
  • Ceramide 3 – prevents dryness and irritation
  • Emu Oil – decreases inflammation and pain [3]
  • Candelilla Wax – hydrates scaly and patchy skin [4]
  • Hydrogenated Castor Oil – offers a protective layer on the skin
  • Lysine HCI – helps build collagen in the skin [5]
  • Tea Tree Leaf Oil – relieves irritated and painful skin
  • Phytosphingosine – provides antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory benefits [6]
  • Tribehenin – helps in hydrating the skin to avoid dryness and patchiness [7]

In my opinion, these compounds offer varying benefits.

However, they're not formulated as the main ingredients.

This means their dose is probably very low.

Besides, since it's a homeopathic treatment, they could be even more diluted.

That's why I wouldn't count on them at all.

Conclusion

Overall – Emuaid's formula looks pretty badly:

  • no solid studies behind (homeopathy)
  • not based on potent anti-fungal ingredients
  • extremely low dosages

I'm not saying that it's a bad product, but it's rather weak than strong.

So there's absolutely no way I could recommend it, especially for this quality/price ratio.

#3 – Consistency & Dosage (6 out of 10)

So far – here's some info you need to know about Emuaid.

1. Consistency

Here are the main features of Emuiad (based on my research):

  • thin gel-type consistency
  • a mix of chemical and herbal scent
  • almost clear in color

So it looks just like clear petroleum jelly, but it's slightly thinner and runny.

2. Dosage

Now – here are the instructions on how to use this product:

  1. Make sure the area is clean and dry.
  2. Apply the product to the infected area.
  3. Use 3-4 times or more daily, in order to relieve pain/irritation.

Honestly – this cream is not very convenient to use.

It needs to be applied 3-4 times or more, in order to reduce the symptoms.

So it's probably not very strong – so the effect doesn't appear after one application.

That's why I can't say it looks great when it comes to using it.

#4 – Results (6 out of 10)

Firstly – Emuaid is a homeopathic medicine, which is something to keep in mind.

So let's take a look at how it worked for the previous customers.

The goal is to give you different perspectives about how it works.

Note: I only analyzed authentic reviews, not promotional or fake ones.

1. Positive Opinions

Now – you should look outside the official website, at least if you're looking for honest reviews.

For this chapter, I chose the positive opinions from Amazon:

  1. Some customers said that their nail fungus was improving.
  2. Others saw a change for their poxvirus scars.
  3. There are some who saw an improvement their eczema and hemorrhoids.
  4. The rest said that it worked overall in treating their skin conditions.

Now – Emuaid seems to be liked by many, since it got an average rating of 4.2/5 stars.

So there's no doubt that it works.

However, its praises about relieving fungus aren't that common.

So it's surely a great cream for minor issues – but it doesn't help severe fungus that much (at least not always).

2. Negative Opinions

Let's now take a look at the complaints of other customers:

  1. Most said there were no changes after a long time of using it.
  2. Some noticed their skin problems got worse.
  3. Others mentioned it didn't work for chronic toenail fungus.
  4. The rest said that it's a waste of money.

I'm not surprised that Emuaid didn't work for some people.

That's because it's a homeopathic treatment, so there's no assurance that it can really help.

So it's up to you if you want to try it out.

But to be honest, I wouldn't.

Conclusion

Again – Emuaid is a homeopathic treatment, so don't expect it to work amazingly.

The formula can work extremely differently (depending on the exact problem).

So there's no guarantee that it can work on your fungus just because it worked for someone else's dry skin.

That's why I recommend products specially designed against fungus.

#5 – Side Effects (4 out of 10)

You now know that Emuaid is not that strong for many customers.

However – there are people who experienced quite the opposite results.

So here are the side effects and complaints of previous buyers:

  • painful blisters
  • infections
  • worsening skin conditions
  • skin burns, rashes, and itching
  • irritations/ allergic reactions

Honestly – I'm quite shocked to read these adverse reactions.

That's because Emuaid seems like a very gentle product on paper (since it's homeopathic).

It's kind of alarming to know that it could make your condition worse.

So in terms of safety, I would probably not recommend it any soon.

#6 – Price (3 out of 10)

Honestly – Emuaid is quite expensive for its type.

So I don't think that it's a good choice at all.

1. The Exact Price

Now – Emuaid is also available on Amazon.

But there are more deals offered on its official website:

  • 2 oz (59ml) costs $58
  • 16 oz (480ml) costs $348
  • 30-day travel pack (0.1 oz or 3 ml/packet) costs $69
  • Free shipping for orders $75+

Emuaid is more than pricey if you consider the volume of the product you receive.

So I don't think it's a really practical investment.

But if you have the budget, it's up to you whether you want to try it or not.

Just remember that there's no guarantee that it really works (as it's a homeopathic medicine).

2. Competitors’ Price

I have a better recommendation for you and it's the best anti-fungal treatment I know.

The product is called Kerassentials:

  1. Kerassentials has a unique mix of ingredients.
  2. Its formula was created to eliminate fungus from the root.
  3. Emuaid contains a variety of natural healing ingredients.
  4. The formulation isn't necessarily designed for fungus.
  5. Kerassentials is a topical treatment that treats fungus without harming the skin.
  6. Normally, Kerassentials costs $69.
  7. But you can buy it for only $49/bottle.
  8. The price of Emuiad starts at $58 and it doesn't get any lower.

Between these 2 products, I advise you to choose the one that focuses on fungus.

That especially if you're dealing with several fungal infections.

So in this case, Kerassentials is the best option.

Also – it's not a homeopathic medicine, so its effect is proven.

Conclusion

Overall – Emuaid seems to be extremely expensive.

Not to mention that it's not even a fungal remedy – so it wouldn't have any reason to cost that much.

So instead of getting a weak all-around treatment, go for a more specialized one.

#7 – FAQs

Here are the common inquiries about Emuaid First Aid Ointment.

Note: I might repeat something I already mentioned, but it's easier to spot here.

1. What does this product treat?

Emuaid claims to be a homeopathic remedy for severe skin conditions:

  • fungal infections and itchy conditions
  • psoriasis, rashes, and eczema
  • hemorrhoids
  • neuropathy

So basically, it reduces pain, itching, and inflammation.

2. What's the formulation of this product?

Emuaid's consistency is like petroleum jelly.

But it's more like a gel-type – which means it's slightly thinner and runny.

3. How should you use this product?

You should apply a thin layer of Emuaid 3-4 times (or more) daily.

It recommends that the desired area of application is clean and dry.

Also, it requires you to apply it consistently, to relieve pain/irritation.

4. Can I use it with other supplements?

Yes, you can use Emuaid with other supplements.

That's simply because it's just a topical product.

So it won't cause any interaction with that specific supplement.

5. Does it cause any serious side effects?

Some previous customers mentioned experiencing these side effects:

  • allergic reactions and skin burn
  • irritations, rashes and itching
  • worsen skin infections
  • new infections and painful blisters

So there are quite some serious complaints about Emuaid.

6. Does it come in different sizes?

You can find different sizes of Emuaid on its official website:

  • 30-day travel pack (3 ml/packet) costs $69
  • 2 oz (59ml) costs $58
  • 16 oz (480ml) costs $348

But the most bought size is the 2 oz (59ml) jar.

#8 – Final Conclusions

Let me give you my summarized opinions about Emuaid.

1. Homeopathic Treatment

Emuaid is known to be a homeopathic remedy.

So based on its formula, it's not really amazing:

  • low concentrations of ingredients
  • no assurance that it really works

Lastly, this type of treatment has no solid studies behind it, so take on to that.

2. Authentic Reviews

I like the fact that Emuaid has a lot of honest reviews.

This is a good sign that it's not a scam because customers actually received it.

That's a crucial factor for a company that is young in the industry, in my view.

3. Quite Expensive

Lastly, Emuaid is very expensive and it's not a practical choice.

The price starts at $58 and it doesn't get any lower.

Also – in case it doesn't work for your fungus, it's an expensive risk.

My Verdict – Worth It Or Not?

Short answer: No – there are enough problems it has:

  1. The formula doesn't focus on treating fungus
  2. Can't prevent future outbreaks
  3. Quite pricey for its value
  4. Can trigger a lot of side reactions
  5. Might not work at all

Emuaid is not a bad product, since a lot of people liked it.

But keep in mind that most people used it for minor issues (like rashes, dry skin, etc.).

When it comes to fungal infections, it's not that praised.

So I think buying it can be very risky for your money, if you're looking for a potent option.

That's why I suggest you to try my #1 recommendation.

The product I'm talking about is Kerassentials:

  • Eliminates fungus from the root
  • Contains a unique mix of ingredients
  • Effect lasts for a long while
  • Doesn't cause any adverse reactions

Honestly – it's not a cheap option, but it focuses on fungus.

Also, you don't need to worry – since it works for real.

So overall, I really think that Kerassentials is obviously a much better option.

18 thoughts on “My Emuaid Review (For Nail Fungus) – Scam Or Legit?

  1. Very informative and well researched. Thanks!

I think I am going to pass on Emuaid. I have trouble believing people got great results in less than 24 hours.

    Steve

    1. Thanks for your feedback, Steve. If you ask me, it’s pretty much impossible for someone to see results that fast, so this is why I don’t really trust Emuaid.

  2. Just from the part where you’ve mentioned “eliminates 99.99% of bacteria in less than 1 minute.”, I see that this is a scam. Maybe not the company but the claim is too good to be true. Sadly, I would not even attempt to try–an opportunity that I would gladly pass, because I really feel like it will only be a waste of time. Not to mention, I feel like it’s too expensive. Using natural remedies feel more worthwhile than this. #sorrynotsorry

    1. Hi Draco, Angelica here. I totally understand why you would think that way. To be honest, their claim is unbelievable. Definitely, this company is not a scam but their claim is really just ridiculous. Nevertheless, maybe this product works for other causes, just not on nail fungal infection. If I’m going to choose, I’d rather use Kerassentials, a good anti-fungal treatment which is versatile and potent. It does not only treat the current infection but also helps in preventing future infection.

  3. Tried it and all I can say is that it is more of a trouble than it’s worth. Apply 4x a day or more? Who has the time to do that? Aside from that, for 58 or so dollars you only get that much? I say that it’s a red flag. How long will that last if you have to apply many times with only a little bit of an oz per product? and don’t even get me started on what happened to me! Anyhow, thank you for this review. it makes me feel so much better that there is someone like you to combat the unfairness and ineffectiveness of this product.

    1. Hey Janica, thanks for sharing your Emuaid experience. I’m sorry this happened to you. Apparently, your concern is something that other users also noticed from this product. Even I myself would not be able to religiously apply 4x a day because let’s be honest, we have a lot to do in a day. But I guess, it’s different when it comes to doing something for our wellbeing. Given this, we really want a product that is potent, effective, and pretty easy to use. Lastly, we are just glad that you found this review very helpful.

      Thanks,
      Angelica

  4. I do agree on some part while i beg to differ on the others. yeah, it is a tad but expensive but it worked for me.its not the price that i am looking here at but the versatility and variety of issues that it can solve. I am just thankful that I found this product because it really helped in my bumps and itches.

    1. What’s up, Leroy? This is Angelica. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. So happy that it worked really great for you because some people had concerns on its effectivity. Anyway, some people really say that it works for issues like yours. On the other hand, this product review was rated based on its effectivity as an anti-fungal infection supplement. Nevertheless, I’m just glad that you’ve had a good experience and you like it.

  5. Hmmm
A college student has an opinion on homeopathy, a system she doesn’t understand. I don’t use much homeopathy but understand it more than this author. Not to say it’s always effective – nothing is, not even pharmaceuticals – but at least educate yourself before spouting an “opinion”.
I do agree that this product sounds a lot like an “as seen on tv” load, but don’t use that as a reason to discount a modality you don’t understand.

    1. Hi Mary, first of all, your comment is very disrespectful. I’m not a college student, I’m a pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy, I stated this point clearly in my bio.

Secondly, I definitely know a lot about homeopathy (enough to not believe in it). If you actually understood its mechanism of action/how it works, you would surely not praise it so much. It is indeed effective in some cases, but I would rather call them “a coincidence”. So it’s definitely not effective always, as you say (far from that actually). Instead, classic medication has a much higher chance of success, simply because it treats the cause with some proper ingredients, that are indeed effective against that specific problem.

  6. I’m actually torn about this review because it DOES have truth on it. However, I personally really like this product. This was the only thing that worked for me when I was really struggling with severe boils. on the other hand, I really agree that it does not treat the root cause–only the current problem. Even still, I would purchase this again and again as long as I do not know of an even better product. Thanks for the review, Paula.

    1. Hello, July! Thanks for commenting! It’s really fine to have some points where you disagree in because it cannot be helped–especially if you have your own experience to refer to. We are just glad that you are able to find something to ease your pain. Hopefully, you are able to find a cure for the root cause of your problem because that would be more cost effective and beneficial in the long run.

      All the best,
      Angelica

  7. THIS PRODUCT IS SUPER EXPENSIVE FOR ITS EFFECT. HONESTLY???? LIKE LOOK FOR ANOTHER BETTER PRODUCT BECAUSE IT DOESNT EVEN WORK FOR ANY OF THE PROBLEMS THEYRE TRYING TO SOLVE.

    1. Hey Jaime, thank you for sharing your experience. I can feel your frustration and you are not alone with that. I’m sorry you had to experience that but at the same time, we are thankful that you are kind enough to share. Buying a product that’s expensive is 10x worth it if it does work. However, if a product’s result is like this then I totally agree that its not worth it. In fact, it’s understandable if you would switch to a better and more worthwhile product for your fungal infection. I just hope that you are better now? Thank you!

  8. Hi! Just so the people here don’t get it, this review is specifically for Emuaid as a solution for Nail Fungus. I get that there is a variety of opinion on this product but at the end of the day, I really agree to their take on this product as a nail fungus solution product. It does not give much given their claim but maybe for the other issues they claim to solve it does work. Anyway, the bottom line here is that it’s not really helpful for nail fungus. When I say not helpful, I mean it takes too long to take effect. Aside from that, just the fact that it may give severe side effects is a major reason not to buy. Hope this helps.

    1. Hey there, Silver. This is Angelica. Thank you for this because yeah, this review is specifically for Emuaid as an anti-fungal supplement but it’s perfectly okay because every experience has it worth. Aside from that, the versatility we are talking about here is specifically when it comes to fungal infection in the body. But frankly speaking, this product might be effective to some people for the other problems this product promises to treat because there are some users that says so. On the other hand, we are sorry that you’ve had an unfortunate experience with Emuaid and you are not the only one with the same issue on this product. This is the reason why we recommend a product that is potent, safe, and a great deal for its price.

  9. I used emuaid for toenail fungus. I question whether the benefits one notices, that the fungus starts to go away, are simply cosmetic. the product is full of fats that are absorbed by the nails, having the effect of making chalky nails clear and so look healthy. The dry, chalky look returns soon after you stop applying the oily topical. I’d value feedback about my observation.

    1. Hey Colin, that’s a very good point. A lot of anti-fungal products only bring in aesthetic benefits, thus making people believe they are working and making them “addicted” to using them. I had several readers complaining about these aspects in other products, so it’s totally possible that Emuaid has the same problem.

      Thanks for pointing it out!
