7 Best Skin Tag/Mole Removers (User Guide + Review)

7 Best Skin Tag/Mole Removers (User Guide + Review)

Are you struggling with some pretty large skin tags/moles?

Well, your dermatologist could easily remove them.

But that's a pretty expensive procedure (well over $200).

Still, there's a much better way to get rid of them:

  • way cheaper
  • can be done at home
  • really safe (if used correctly)

I'm talking about using products that remove skin blemishes – but not any random ones.

For this reason – here are the 7 best skin tag/mole removers (with the best quality/price ratio).

Note: This list is based on 3 main criteria – quality/price, ingredients, and results.

#1 Recommendation – Amarose

1. Producer: Amarose

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Sanguinaria Canadensis
  • Zinc Muriaticum
  • Salicylic Acid

3. Best For: Reducing skin tags and moles.

It's the best product in this category – due to its strong yet gentle effect.

Unlike 95% of skin tag removers, it doesn't irritate/scratch the skin at all.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $59 VS $39 (for the largest supply).

Out of all the skin tag removers I looked into (and tried out) – Amarose is by far the best.

Its #1 advantage is its effect.

That's because it has the same strong effect as most skin tag removers – but it's a lot safer:

  • doesn't work by scratching the skin
  • doesn't irritate the area around

In other words – it works by stimulating white blood cells around the tags/moles.

In this way, the blemishes fall off on their own.

And most importantly – the area around (and underneath) stays smooth and untouched.

To be more exact, Amarose doesn't cause the regular side effects of skin tag removers.

That's the main reason why it's my top pick.

My Review: Amarose Skin Tag/Mole Remover (2022) - Why I Recommend It

Besides, it has a very natural formula:

  • based on herbs and minerals
  • no harsh chemicals

That's what makes it so gentle – but effective at the same time.

Plus, there are lots of satisfied users behind it – and the before/after photos speak for themselves.

That's why Amarose is the best product you can get for safe blemish removal.

Its only major downside is the high number of fake versions:

  • all products sold by retailers are made by a different brand
  • none of them is the real version
  • the original product is only available on the official page

For this reason – make sure you avoid all 3rd party products labeled as Amarose.

Instead, get the product only from its official website.

The original version is indeed a bit pricier – but it's enough for most of your body's blemishes.

So you're making a much better deal buying it (than it seems initially).

But all in all – I couldn't find any better skin tag/mole remover.

So if you want the best (and safest) option, Amarose is all you need.

PROs
  • Great results against skin tags, moles, and warts
  • Based only on natural ingredients
  • Overall formula is very strong
  • Doesn't irritate/scratch the skin
  • No regular side effects
  • Results appear very fast
  • One bottle is enough for several months
  • Excellent quality/price ratio (or even quantity/price ratio)
  • Available worldwide
CONs
  • Original product is only available on its official website
  • Several fake versions sold online (so buy it only from its website)

#2 – Skincell Advanced

1. Producer: Skincell Advanced

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Sanguinaria Canadensis
  • Zinc Muriaticum
  • Salicylic Acid
  • Herbal Extracts (Bloodroot, Oat Bran, etc.)

3. Best For: Eliminating all types of skin blemishes.

It's also effective in preventing the removed tags/moles/warts from coming back.

All in all – it's an excellent option against these skin issues.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $69 VS $39 (for the largest supply).

Skincell Advanced is an improved version of the previous product.

In terms of effect – it follows the same really safe pattern:

  • stimulates white cell production around the blemishes
  • doesn't irritate the skin
  • removes the blemishes without harming the area underneath

So it works as fast as the previous version, but also as safe.

However, the difference is that Skincell Advanced contains a couple of extra ingredients.

I'm talking about a mix of herbal extracts.

Still – they don't matter a lot in terms of removing blemishes:

  • boost the other 3 ingredients' role
  • maintain the health of the newly formed skin
  • improve hydration

In other words – they don't make Skincell Advanced much better than the alternative.

If you ask me, I would say their effect is about the same.

However, the Advanced version costs about $10 more.

Considering their results, I would say it's not really worth those extra $10.

Now – if you want to go for the Advanced, you're making a great deal.

The product definitely works and it will remove your blemishes really well.

But I personally would prefer to save $10 and go for the Amarose.

Since they work exactly the same – why spend anything more for the same effect?

Still, the choice is all yours.

And no matter what product you chose – you would still make a great choice.

PROs
  • Works really well against all types of blemishes
  • Contains over 7 ingredients (all natural)
  • Doesn't irritate/scratch the skin
  • Works extremely fast (even within days)
  • One bottle lasts a lot
  • Effective for all sizes of blemishes
  • Available in most countries
CONs
  • Only available on the official page (at least the original versions)
  • Pricier than the Pro version

#3 – Derma Correct

1. Producer: Derma Correct

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Bloodroot, Herbal Extracts
  • Vitamin Complex (B6, B12, Niacin)
  • Essential Oils
  • Alpha-Hydroxy

3. Best For: Reducing blemishes naturally.

It's one of the best options among natural-based products.

It works extremely well for warts, skin tags, and moles.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $49 VS $29 (for the largest supply).

Derma Correct is a pretty recent skin tag/mole remover.

That's why it's not higher on my list – it's not very popular or famous.

But in terms of effect, it can easily compete with the 2 previously mentioned products:

  • works for all types of blemishes
  • has several satisfied users behind
  • comes with some before/after evidence pictures

Besides, it has an extremely natural formula.

For this reason – its effect is also very gentle and non-irritative:

  • increases blood flow around the blemishes
  • dries them out
  • hydrates the skin underneath

In this way – skin tags/moles end up falling on their own.

But the most important part is that the skin around them is completely healed.

Besides – compared to both Skincell products, Derma Correct is a lot cheaper.

Plus, its quantity also lasts for up to several months (for one bottle).

So despite its low popularity, it's an excellent choice against skin blemishes.

If you give it a try, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.

PROs
  • Formula is based on 5 types of natural ingredients
  • Doesn't irritate the skin at all
  • Works really well even for larger tags/moles
  • Doesn't cause any regular side effects
  • One bottle is enough for many blemishes
  • Cheaper than most competitors
CONs
  • Not available in all countries
  • Pretty recent product
  • Several fake versions on the market (buy only from the official website)

#4 – Auto TagBand

1. Producer: TagBand

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Silicone (Bands)

3. Best For: Removing skin tags through ligation.

It's a device – not a classic tag/mole remover in a liquid form.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $27 VS $27 (same price even for larger supplies).

What makes Auto TagBand stand out is its mechanism of action.

That's because it's not a regular skin tag remover, with a liquid consistency.

Instead – it's designed as a special device:

  1. Reduces skin tag blood supply.
  2. Works by applying silicone at its base.
  3. This method restricts the tag's blood flow.

However, there are 2 things I need to point out about this device.

First of all – it's mostly suitable for skin tags, not for all skin blemishes (like warts/moles).

Besides, this process can be a bit painful.

That especially if your skin tag is quite large.

So to be honest – it's a bit more uncomfortable than liquid skin tag removers.

Still, Auto TagBand definitely removes skin tags successfully.

That's why it has so many satisfied users behind it.

Besides, it comes for a really affordable price.

But all in all – I still don't consider it as worthy as the 3 products above.

PROs
  • Unique mechanism of action
  • Really great results in terms of removing tags
  • Extremely affordable
  • Lots of satisfied users behind
  • Available in several retailers
CONs
  • Several fake versions on the market
  • Only works for skin tags (not for moles/warts)
  • A bit painful for larger tags

#5 – Novome Remover

1. Producer: Novome

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Tea Tree Oil, Mint
  • Honeysuckle, Glycerol
  • Acorus Gramineus, Coptis Chinensis

3. Best For: Reducing skin tags and warts naturally.

It as a herbal-based formula that is pretty safe.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $24 VS $24 (same price even for larger supplies).

Novome's product is another pretty popular skin tag remover.

That's probably because it looks like a classic product:

  1. Liquid formulation
  2. Based on herbal extracts
  3. Really easy to use

However –  most of its ingredients aren't very famous for improving skin blemishes.

In other words, they don't have any clinical evidence in this chapter.

That's probably why Novome's product has more unsatisfied users than most products from this list.

Still, it also works for many others.

So all in all – its customer feedback is pretty good.

Besides, it's suitable for both skin tags and warts.

However – it doesn't seem to work too well on moles, so it gets a minus here.

But even so, it's really affordable for a product of this kind.

PROs
  • Designed as a pen (which is easy to apply)
  • Based on natural ingredients
  • Works really well for tags and warts
  • Available in most countries
  • Pretty affordable
CONs
  • Doesn't work for moles
  • Its ingredients don't have any studies behind it (for skin tags/warts)
  • Several unsatisfied users

#6 – SkinPro

1. Producer: SkinPro

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Salicylic Acid 25%

3. Best For: Removing skin tags and moles.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $34 VS $34 (same price even for larger supplies).

In terms of effect, SkinPro is one of the strongest blemish removers:

  1. Works for tags, moles and warts.
  2. Removes the blemishes really well.
  3. Effect is faster than in other products.

And its great results are definitely because of its composition.

This product is based on concentrated Salicylic Acid.

But that's exactly what brings in its biggest problem.

Now, Salicylic Acid tends to remove blemishes by burning them.

And despite having a great effect, it also causes side effects very often:

  • burning and stinging
  • red skin
  • irritations

Obviously, SkinPro has a lot of complaints in this chapter.

So even though its effect is very fast and strong – it doesn't really leave your skin untouched.

That's why it's up to you if you want to pay the price.

PROs
  • Really strong effect on all types of blemishes
  • Results can appear very fast
  • Only contains one active ingredient
  • Affordable for the quantity
CONs
  • Cause side effects very often (especially burning)
  • Not a safe product at all

#7 – InstaDerm

1. Producer: SkinPro

2. Main Ingredients:

  • Salicylic Acid 25%
  • Tea Tree Leaf Oil

3. Best For: Correcting and reducing skin tags.

4. Standard VS Lowest Price: $29 VS $29 (same price even for larger supplies).

InstaDerm is made by the same brand as SkinPro.

That's probably why it has a very similar composition:

  • based on the same concentrated Salicylic Acid
  • also contains some Tea Tree Oil

However – its active ingredient is pretty much Salicylic Acid.

So its formula is almost identical to that of SkinPro.

Still, it seems to have a few more satisfied users behind.

That's probably because the essential oil it contains tends to reduce skin burning a bit.

But even so – it still has enough complaints about irritations.

However – all in all, InstaDerm is a great option against skin tags.

Just keep in mind that it's not effective for warts/moles as SkinPro.

PROs
  • Based on a concentrated form of Salicylic Acid
  • Doesn't irritate the skin that badly
  • Works pretty well against skin blemishes
  • Pretty affordable
  • Available in most countries
CONs
  • Doesn't work too well for warts/moles
  • Causes side effects in some people

My Verdict – What Is The Best Skin Tag/Mole Remover?

Short answer: It's definitely Amarose.

Out of all products I looked into – it's by far the most valuable:

  1. Works great for all skin blemishes (tags, moles, or warts).
  2. Really fast and strong effect.
  3. Doesn't irritate the skin at all.
  4. Extremely safe to use in the long run.
  5. One bottle is enough for lots of blemishes.

Now, its improved version (Skincell Advanced) is also really worth trying.

But it costs about $10 more and the effect isn't anything better.

That's why I recommend you stick to Amarose.

My only advice would be to buy it from its official website (otherwise you may get a fake version).

Still – the other products from this list are some great choices as well.

But all in all, Amarose remains the best skin tag/mole remover I know.

So if you want to spend your money wisely, that's what you should go for.

I personally would definitely go for it.

  1. I tried SKINCELL and it didn’t work not one bit. 3 bottles all wasted money. I can not waste that kind of money. The bottle says SKINCELL in green vary plainly.

    HAROLD GALUSHA

    1. Hello Harold and thanks a lot for your feedback on Skincell, I’m really sorry it didn’t help you at all. Allow me to ask you – have you bought the product from the official website? As you said, there are lots of fake versions sold on the market and most of them look very similar (so it’s hard to me to know what version you bought by hearing how it looks, as they all use green colours on their label). Either way – if the producer stated they would give you a refund, you should be able to get it. You can contact them and threaten to sue them – this scares most scam brands and they end up refunding people once they’re threatened to be sued.

Even so, I’m pretty sure you didn’t get the original product.

But please let me know if you manage to get your money back. Good luck and best wishes for you!
